Pilgrim, writer, photographer, mom, author of A Marshmallow on the Bus, Prayer Beads on the Train, Turnstiles, and Waiting on a Platform. I am also a performing artist in the NY Transit Museum Platform Series and a contributor to the anthology, Love Her, Love Her Not: The Hillary Paradox, edited by Joanne Cronrath Bamberger.

My books from The Late Orphan Project have won several awards. They are anthologies of stories written after the death of our parents: These Winter Months, and These Summer Months.

If you are interested in the Way of St. James, the Camino de Santiago, try my latest book - Buen Camino! Tips from an American Pilgrim.

I like to tell stories. I write poems, short fiction, essays on family history, and my view of living in a big city after growing up in a small one.

I have a particular fondness for the Camino de Santiago in Spain and I've included some writing about it in Prayer Beads.
