Mary Jolley enjoys a long love affair with books. Her favorite thing to do in the quiet hour after her four young children have gone to bed is get lost in a compelling story. She loves books that are uplifting, well written, and captivating. In her own novels, she aims for just that.

Mary loves to travel and explore this beautiful planet earth. The first thing she figures out in any city is the good places to eat. Girls trip to New York with her sisters is an annual event she doesn't miss. 

Although now she doesn't adhere to a plant-only diet, her first book was a nonfiction researched based cookbook exploring a vegan, low-sugar diet. Writing the Green Diet, published in 2010, distilled in Mary the love of good healthy food, but also the love of writing. Mary has taken her passion for creating and inventing into writing young adult novels and she can't imagine ever looking back.
