Linda Summer wrote her first words when she was three years old and has loved playing with words ever since. Born in Adelaide, South Australia, to loving Estonian parents Karl and Maja Summer, she became a prolific writer from an early age, filling a huge scrap book with poetry, plays, stories and illustrations.

Her first 'Letter to the Editor' was published in 'The News' when she was nine and she became the first poet to be published in the Adelaide University magazine 'On Dit.'

A Journalism Diploma in th early 1980's led to a television career with the Nine Network as Publicist, then Promotions Producer (Adelaide, SA and Sydney, NSW.) During this time she also gained Diplomas in Writing and Book Editing & Publishing.

Detouring from her creative path several times until 2011, a birthday celebration in Paris rekindled Linda's 'corporatised' spirit and imagination, inspiring her to shoot and edit travel flicks for fun. 2013, a powerful Dr Wayne Dyer quote: 'Don't die with the music still in you,' compelled her to take a sabbatical from her consuming job to return to her creative path.

She wrote her first feature length screenplay, offbeat spiritual comedy 'Woo Woo World', wrote and directed short film 'Good Medicine' and self-published children's eBook, 'Zazoo Zazoo!' which she originally wrote some twenty years earlier.

Linda resides on the Central Coast, New South Wales, Australia and encourages children to join her in co-creating a happy, peaceful world by writing and sharing imaginative stories with meaning. She is currently developing a children's nature-based short film series, 'A Fairy's Life,' and intends to publish more children's eBooks.
