Social awkwardness is a surprisingly infamous disease, and it seems that I give it to everyone I meet.

I believe that everyone deserves your respect until proven wrong, and that the golden rule wouldn't exist if everyone believed that. 

However, good only exists because of bad, and the light only shines brightly because the darkness is its background. 

Being good isn't being right, and we too often forget this simple fact. There's always a third path.

The past is what shapes us no matter how much we deny it, but that's different from defining us. Like the painter and the painting are different, so's the outcome and the process. 

Shaping isn't defining, let the past be a part of you, don't let it be all you can see. You will be better than that.
