I'm happy to announce I have finished writing my ONC story Ever After and have submitted it with 6 days to spare.  For those of you who have completed your stories, congratulations!  For those of you still, working on them, you can do it!

I got chapters 14 and 15 of Ever After posted today.  I should be able to finish this in one more chapter!

Chapter 13 of my ONC story Ever After is now up.  With this one I've surpassed the 20,000 word limit, but I've still got a little bit more to go to wrap the story up.  Hopefully get it done in the next couple days or so.

All right, I managed to churn out chapter 12 today, too!  I'm nearly at the 20,000 word mark now, but I think I've got at least a couple more chapters to go to wrap this thing up.  Still glad I've gotten some solid work done on it this week.  Also congratulations to all the winners and ambassador's picks for this round.  Well deserved!

Chapter 11 of Ever After is now posted.  Getting close to the end, but still have a little ways to go.  Going to try to work a little on chapter 12 right now.

Well, I managed to get chapter 10 of Ever After written and posted today, too.  Whew, I think I'm done for today, but I'll try to get back to it possibly tomorrow.  It looks like I might actually have a relatively light work week, so it's a good opportunity to get this thing done, or close to it.

Chapter 9 of Ever After is now posted.  I'm sitting around 15,000 words and I've got exactly 2 weeks to hit 20,000 for the deadline.  Seems doable.  Of course I've also got to wrap the story up, which might take more than another 5,000 words.  I guess I'd better get back to it.

I got stuck in a really long work day yesterday and didn't even check Wattpad so I learned my ONC story Ever After advanced to the next round from all the kind people wishing my congratulations on it.  So, thanks, everyone!  Also now I really need to buckle down and finish Ever After!  
          
          I did take a little detour from working on it because I realized that April 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of when I finished writing my first book, Tourist Trap.  That seemed like a momentous enough occasion to be worth reflecting on, so I wrote a brand new Preface to it that I just now posted.  If you feel like getting a little nostalgic with me, feel free to take a look!  
          
          In the meantime I'm going to try to crank out another chapter on Ever After.

Chapter 8 of my ONC story Ever After is now posted and that's no April Fool's joke, mostly because today is April 2nd, and it wouldn't make sense to do an April Fool's joke now.  Anyway, hope you enjoy!

I'm not sure how long this will remain the case (I've never understood the rankings on this site), but right at this moment Ever After is #1 in Fractured Fairytales, while The Shady Adventures of Fabian is #7 in the same category.  Pretty neat!
