Hey! :) I am an arts and languages lover and I have dabbled in quite a few of the arts - dance, song, acting, writing, composing, traditional art, and photography.

I am also an avid linguist. I find everything about language in general, absolutely fascinating! :) I'm also a Translator...and I do admit I'm very strict on grammar, pronunciation, etc. especially when it's something that should be professional...like a newspaper! I do hate it when I find silly language mistakes in them! I can't help it! I go nuts! hehe :) As such, I constantly keep checking my work to fix anything I've missed and sometimes this leads to also changing some of the wording too. I believe in proof-reading your own work as well as having others check it for you otherwise you will just end up with sloppy and lazy work. Proof-reading seems to have taken a huge backseat nowadays especially in publishing books, etc. - this is not okay at all! But anyway, that's the end of the rant! ^_^

I have written my fair share of poems and song lyrics, as well as tried my hand at writing a few original short stories and lately I've also written quite a few fan fiction stories. However, one big problem I've always encountered was writer's block smack bang in the middle of writing a story. Ideas seem to flow and I start writing something but then I have no idea how to continue it so it remains unfinished. I think story writing is a learned skill and I'm definitely willing to learn!
