My fourteen year old self is the last person to touch this About Me. Eww. Just. Eww. I KNEW this needed updated!!!

So, what can I say that hasn't already been said in every seventeen year old girl's bio already on every social media sight out there? How about this one?

Hello, my name is Taralyn and I am a KPop-aholic! Yeah, you heard me. KPop. Korean popular music. If you've got a problem with it, go ANYWHERE else! I don't like it when people hate on my music taste.

So... Seventeen now... Yep. I'm old and graduated.

I still want to write but not as much as I want to become an English teacher in South Korea. I'm slowly but surely teaching myself Korean. When I get out of the Peace Corps., (Yep you heard that one correct too. I'm one of those hippie idealists!) I'd like to go on to college to get an English degree and my teaching certification as well as maybe minor in Korean and Korean studies.

I love the reactions I get when I tell people my dreams and goals. Either they think it is the most wonderful thing in the world (RARE) or they think I'm entirely delusional (Much more common!)...

My favorite bands are:

So, I still adore reading and writing! I just can never seem to find time to do it as much as I'd like anymore. I work a lot and I babysit my cousins or my grandmother when I'm not at work.

I still like owls (I {apparently} still look like one too!) and werewolves are still one of my favorite things to read about. I'm also into crime fiction now and humor too take the edge off.
