Alfred W. Smith, Jr.

I'm a New York City kid, born and raised, now living in Jersey (I know, shame on me...) Father of three, jazz bassist, amateur photographer (actually, renewing my love of it; the tech is wonderful, but overwhelming. Keep telling myself ' the fun is in the journey.' ) I'm a former English teacher, retired, currently working for an international courier, but looking to start a full time writing career. Unpublished as of yet, but writing in the meantime. If you read the stories/ poems/ short pieces, etc,  please feel free to leave feedback, ask questions, etc. I believe that if you spend time reading a work, and have the chance to tell the author what you thought of it, you should. I know that's a double-edged sword, but I'm hoping the positive outweighs the negative; if not, I'll just get better. Blessings! Enjoy!
