"Dropzone" is a bit of a fun experiment. I'm normally a meticulous outliner, all the way down to the scene level, and nothing sees the light of day until after heavy editing. This is a post-as-you-go first draft style approach. I love space opera, and decided to write the first draft of a military sci-fi themed space opera here on Wattpad. I'll be uploading a 2 to 4,000 word chapter about once a week; feedback, comments, suggestions, observations welcome--anything to help shape the novel into a stronger story--is greatly appreciated.

My Bio: 
Stephen M Holak was born in Camden, New Jersey, spent ten years in the U.S. Navy, and managed teams of software engineers for a major telecommunications company before turning more attention to his first love: writing.

Steve Majored in English Literature at Temple University in Philadelphia. Writing and reading Science Fiction and Fantasy are his core passions, but Steve also teaches SCUBA diving in his infinite spare time.

He lives, works and writes in the rural suburbs of Philadelphia.
