About me:
 I love running all year round. Running is the best thing in the whole world!-well, almost. In the winter time I ski every chance I get. For years now, I have been having a mental debate about which activity I love more, and I have come to the conclusion that they are both amazing, but I think I like skiing better. My dream is to go to the Olympics, even though I'm not the best.

        Have you ever wanted to fly? Have you ever dreamed of whizzing though the sky, faster than a bullet, the wind buffeting your face, that brilliant bright ball of fire dazzling your eyes? I know I have. That's why I ski. I love the sensation of zipping down the mountain without a care in the world, faster then sound, faster than light! So maybe I'm exaggerating on the speed, but that's what it feels like to me! The way the icy dust reflects the sun's rays, turning the whole mountain into a shimmering sea of glittering silver-blue diamonds. Who wouldn't love it? I like to say, lean forwards, trust your skis and let the slopes guide you. See a cliff? you better own that landing.

         The best part of running is when you can't feel your legs, your lungs are burning and your sides are aching. Your feet are moving only by instinct, breathe raspy and throat dry, but the rhythm in your stride is what keeps you going, and that song in your heart keeps you sane. Why is that feeling of misery the best part? That's something I can't explain. That feeling is something you have to understand, but to put it into words, not even the best writer could ever dare explain it. The best I can say, is that it's at times like this when you most want to stop, but it's at times like this that you have the most strength to keep going. Maybe that made since to you, maybe it didn't. I didn't get it for a very long time, but now that I do, there is no feeling I love more than. To leave reality and go where nothing can touch me. Where I am forever lost in my own galaxy!
