Welcome to my page! I'm new to Wattpad, but definitely not new to writing fiction. When I was a kid, my handwriting was so atrocious that my mom integrated short-stories into my daily school routine; they didn't make much sense, I remember, but I grew to enjoy that daily task more than any other that was required of me. This little special interest went dormant for many years until I became a young teenager, when I quite suddenly became obsessed with reading historical fiction and romance--it was then that my love for writing returned anew, and I wrote many short stories and (unfinished) novellas. I've never shared any of them with the world, as I'm a bit of a perfectionist, but I think an imperfect story is best shared, rather than a not-yet-perfect story kept hidden for eternity. So. . .here I am, preparing and writing my first novel to share with the world! I'm nervous and excited and a little shaky (did the barista forget to make my coffee decaf?), and I hope that by posting my work here, I'll be more motivated to finish what I've started.
