Victoria Amara Rele

Hey, FRIEND!

I'm Victoria Amara Rele. Here are a few reasons why I write under that name: 1) My name means Victoria in Zulu and not a lot of people can say it. 2) I love the Igbo meaning of Amara which is Grace. 3) I chose Rele because it is short for relative which is what my surname means in Xhosa and it just sounds fancier.  

I write novellas and short stories. I usually write from the point of view of the main character and almost 120% of the time it will be from a woman. I hope to one day become a published author whether it be in academics or fiction writing. 

I am just a girl who wants to write works of art and I write just because I can for the fun of it. And it is a great break from writing in constant academic standards. 

I am obsessed with movies and series are my poison and when movies and series are combined, they are atomic bomb amazing.
