@ashiahope3 we readers do love media. If you are planning please add media , it sums up to our imagination and we like it.
Thanks for your advice....it is definitely going to be a long book... I have the plot....and am currently working on the chapters and regarding uploading I am thinking about doing it once a week since the story is not written....once I have chapters written in advance I will update more frequently....this is the plan but most of my update schedule will depend on how hectic my college gets... hopefully I will be able to manage it....your suggestions meant a lot to me .....Thanks it means a lot to have someone guiding you. I hope you continue to do so in future...If I may ask what is your opinion about media (outfits, house details,etc) added in the chapter.... honestly I am planning on adding them so that the readers get a better clarity of the image i want them to develop....but I am not so sure....I would like to hear it from you....if you (reader) like the book with media or without .
@ashiahope3 it will be better if you update the book often at the starting until it 10-11 chapters if it's a long book. Don't keep the book short if you have planned to then I would suggest add more scenes , explanation , conversations and dramas. Long books will help your channel grow faster at the starting then when you already have 2-3 long books finished you can upload some short books. By long books I mean books with 40+ chapters or even a sequel. By short books I mean 20- chapters. And between 20 and 40 they are average. Don't keep the chapters too short. And once in a while (once in a month or two) upload chapters longer than your usual ones. After writing always double or even triple check it like the grammar should be right and there should be no typos before uploading the chapter. Don't add the twists at the very beginning of the book. Sometimes leave the story on cliffhanger that will make people stick to it. Don't reveal what is gonna happen next in your writer's note , if there is something special or drama coming next only say 'drama is on its way' , that will make readers curious. Plot should always be before hand planned. This all attract the readers and make them stick to the book.
