Oyedokun Ibukun Stephen, with the pen name PENAWD, is a Nigerian poet, playwright and prolific writer. Having Wolé Sóyínká as his role model, he believes his pen can change the globe for better. For "Pen speaks louder than violence".
He is a Student of English in the University of Ibadan (OSCOED Affilates), and a multi-genre creator of words.
Creativity generally started at his infanthood, when he gathered his peers to act. After that, the loving muse for both poetry and prose started at Junior School Level, which was later a thing of interest at the Senior School Level, with the accompaniment of his friends.
Though, he wasn't brought up with a silver-spoon, but aiming to the sky as the starting point. "Brighter future ahead" he says.
