Old Man Ben

I am new to writing, specifically novels. I started because I wanted to practice telling bedtime stories to my children, not just reading books, but telling them tales that incorporated my kids as well. Probably also due, in part,  to some far-fetched aspirations of weaving morals and free-thinking into their heads. I have no true ambitions to become a renowned novelist or anything of that ilk. I just came for some peer feedback and, hopefully, some insightful thought exchange.
