One question is in the air: where are the personifications of nations?
Could Hetalia be the only way we found out about these mythical beings, like how fairytales remind us of fairies and Unicorns.
Lisa, Dave and I are huge massive fans of the show, and when that accident had happened to us we were certain that these personifications may of been real.
Far too real.
We were the fans that waited for the next season, the next volume of the web comics. We dreampt, we wrote and we believed in them. Could it be we have lost our heroic personifcations because we all just don't believe in them?

Around the world consepts of strange ideas that aliens have arrived upon our earth to move symbols and create a world of what we call fantasy. Eygpt and the pyramids, England and Stonehendge and Atlantis? Truly why would the aliens build here if there was already magic upon our planet.

This little poem sums up their true roles I believe:

  We just  don't deserve to know the truth.
  The Universe mocks our simple little lives.
             We must be pathetic creatures.
  But...Our personifications were always there to sooth
   And comfort us... and Love us til their pure magic dies
   I can't wait to tell the Universe I think I'm awesome.
   However here is where you shall find out about us the best.
               Yet the worse.
   Poision makes medicine, but when medicine is put at the test
   It tastes bitter, but some of us take the sugar with it's curse
                Us dreamers.
