First and foremost, I'm a daughter of God and follower of Christ.

I'm also a 40-something Directioner with 4 teenagers. My 3 girls got me interested in 1D and now have "moved on" so I'm the biggest fangirl in my house!

My true hero is my husband, Al who suffered a stroke in 2011. He is now living with permanent disability, yet continues to be a wonderful father and a faithful man of God. *I love you*

I'm a Young Adult author, and for the time being, I've chosen mostly One Direction members to star in my stories. I'm still developing my writing skills, and I'm happy to receive constructive criticism.

As I mentioned, I am a Christian, but I don't write "Christian books." Most of my characters are not necessarily Christian. Some of the things I write are a little raw and earthy at times, and yes, I use some profanity. I want to write REALITY, in a way most readers can access. But I always lead the characters into self-evaluation and ultimately, growth towards making better choices for their lives.

Find me on Pinterest - I've pinned lots of different tools for writers.

I'm a Yooper - give me a shout if you know what that means!
