Janine O is a woman Of A Certain Age living in the hills above Berkeley California. Despite a fairly school-ish past, she's been a musician, a political activist, a bread-baker, a carpenter and a ghost-writer for the pithy insights for a bunch of people's social media accounts.  Her admitted pastimes include watching the fog roll in (and out) of the San Francisco Bay, more bread-baking, the occasional fiddle-playing with people who are actually GOOD at their instruments and conversing about  existential concepts with her cat, Mimi.
