Gratiana Lovelace

My life is blessed with a love that deepens each passing year that we are married--and my husband and I have been married for more than 30 years now.  We are each others' true hearts and loving soul mates. 

And I have always been a romantic at heart, loving the great novels, plays, & poems by Austen, the Bronte's, Shakespeare, Wharton, and others--whether the stories were of star crossed lovers, lovers with obstacles in their path, or lovers needing to learn how to love again, etc..  At university, I studied literature and performed it--as well as, writing my own early musings in prose and verse.  But the everyday necessities of life took hold and my creative writing spirit lay dormant for a very long time.

However my return to my own creative writing in February 2010--after viewing the liltingly romantic BBC production of "North & South" (first broadcast in 2004)--became an unstoppable force that has infused my life with inestimable joy as I have written over 50 stories to date.  Of my stories, some are original fan fiction, but most are my completely original stories--with my writing of new stories continuing weekly.   I joke, that I can't turn off my storytelling brain--nor would I want to.  

My storytelling genre is romantic love--tender, passionate, sensuous, and always honoring the deep and abiding love that my lovers share.  My stories are tales of heartfelt love and of lovers who cherish each other.  After all, Love is the cherished dream of our hearts' desires (Gratiana L., 2012).

I began a blog called Something About Love; in 2011 where I have also shared my stories.  It is found at www.gratianads90.wordpress.com  And in August 2012, I began to share my stories with the wider audience of Wattpad, with you.  I hope that you enjoy my stories.
