I live in Texas with my wife and son and run a modest small business. I enjoy studying all sorts of different subjects, so I try to include different aspects of those into my writing. I love coming up with plot twists and really interesting situations and premises I've never seen done before. I love a good love story mixed with a lot of suspense, action, and mystery to drive the reader through the book that much faster.

I'm currently writing the Winter's Edge series which will be a trilogy when it's complete. Its highest rank in Adventure was #152. It's won first place in a couple of contests in the action/adventure category, but it's definitely a contemporary Urban Fantasy, as well, with some murder mystery and an evil shadow government vying to keep people with powers a secret...usually by killing them or enslaving them. Fun times, right?

I have a couple more books in the works, but I can't really talk about those yet. Suffice to say, they're unique ideas you've never seen done before, so I can't wait to get them written and published.

My favorite author when I was growing up was Michael Crichton. I loved his book State of Fear. Unfortunately, he died too young, but somehow he published two or three books after he died. That's right...my favorite writer is so good, he writes from the grave.

Many years later, Robert Jordan became my favorite writer for a while (minus his insanely-long descriptions of things). Unfortunately, he died too. But, thankfully, Brandon Sanderson took over his Wheel of Time series and completed it. So, naturally, my next and current favorite author is Brandon Sanderson. But I began seeing a disturbing trend--my favorite authors always die. So, good luck, Brandon Sanderson. Watch out for falling pianos or heart-attach-inducing burgers.
