April Elder is a comedian at heart. Her wit and ability to inspire laughter, even in the direst of moments, has inspired many stories. When she is not writing, she is chasing her yellow Labrador through the house with a vacuum cleaner and desperately trying concoctions to stop his infamous shedding. She lives in the Willamette Valley where she is thankful for the rainy season which allows her many hours of uninterrupted indoor time to pen her words. She is down-to-earth and sometimes a little too honest in her books. April is a wife, a mother and she’s not afraid to self-deprecate to share a laugh or two.
