I write all kinds of stuff. Literary criticism. Fiction. Poetry. Sometimes fanfic (but I don't say which ones). And a lot of tweets.

I teach university classes on Young Adult literature. I always include a section on "literature by young adults"--Jim Carroll, Arthur Rimbaud, S. E. Hinton, and sometimes some fanfiction. I want to learn more about how Wattpad works.

I'm also always up for talking about fanfiction, which is why I wrote a book on it.

I'm posting my novel In Between Days here while my publisher Smart Pop is sharing parts of my book FIC.

In Between Days is not fanfic, but it is John Hughes-inspired. It's set in his hometown, but I put in a lot of stuff (and people) that Hollywood left out. Such as coke dealers. (I *have* written Breakfast Club fanfiction, but this isn't it.)
