@Ambassadors It's outrageous that you're removing the private messaging feature. This is a restriction of the users' right to privacy! I'm outraged and together with many authors from Poland, we believe that Wattpad as a platform for writers is becoming more and more useless.

Greetings! I had a small query regarding the disability of user-to-user private messaging. Since from May 6, it will no longer be a feature on this app, does it mean previous chats will be deleted as well?
          
          They hold a lot of memories from my dear readers who have messaged me privately about my books. It's be too sad amd disappointing if those chats/memories get deleted as well. 
          
          So, for that, I request a early notice if they will be deleted or retained. So if needed, I can somehow save those chats (either by screenshoting or any other way). 
          
          I hope for your prompt response and concern towards this matter.

Why are you removing private messages on Wattpad? That was the only way I could get closer to my followers, fellow writers, and friends. I hope you change your mind removing this feature. Or perhaps, bring it back after a while.

@Joloite888 - my personal point of view is irrelevant. I am here to help users as best as I can with answers to their questions and/or point them in the direction of information. The point here is that Wattpad have taken the decision, not the Ambassadors.

Omg... What a heck is going Wattpad.. The private messenger feature here on Wattpad makes the app the best so far among the other reading app.. I've always use the private messenger to share my reading story with my connected friends.. Please don't downgrade this app

Please don't take off the private messaging option on wattpad it's the unique function that set's wattpad apart from every other reading apps.
