"All I want is to create something beautiful. To make music with words, verses with rhythm, harmonies with synonyms...to create something from nothing, from empty space where no story lay before - this is what a writer does - they search for the extraordinary in all things." -alannarusnak.com

I live on a small patch of untamable land in mid-western Ontario with my three children, husband, and an overweight cat. Fueled by copious amounts of tea and chocolate, I like to write fiction and creative non-fiction from within my tiny study late at night...because mornings do not agree with me nor I with them!

ARE YOU A CANADIAN WRITER? I run a small Canadian Lit magazine and am always looking for flash fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry from Canadian writers at any point in their career. Check it out here - http://blankspaces.alannarusnak.com - and consider sending me your best, polished work for publication!
