She creates songs but gets laughed and mocked at for how bad it sounds and messy. So, she separates her work life and school life. Kaede was determined. She never let those comments get in the way of her goal. Her goal, to make a song that can save someone. Sounds ridiculous right? She has a reason to do all this. She has to do this. It's her path. To save someone. What made her so desperate to begin with. Only time will tell. But it's clear she can't do it alone. So she made a group with strangers whom she never met irl in her knowledge but has the talents and skills to make her goal possible. Until that day, things will never be the same. But is it for good? Or for the worst?

IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED THE GAME IN ITS ENTIRETY, AVOID READING THIS UNTIL YOU FINISH IT. ⚠️ Also, to clarify, this story takes place in a Danganronpa AU in which the killing game was a simulation. None of the events taking place in this fanfiction are, nor ever will be canon. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After Kokichi dies, he wakes up to be greeted by all of his dead peers. At least, he thought they were dead. Once Kokichi finds out the truth about Danganronpa, he can't help but be confused. Coming to terms with the fact that he doesn't have to lie to survive anymore, he tries to change himself for the better, but the guilt from his previous actions often get in the way. As Kokichi adapts to his new life, he forms relationships with those around him, and remembers things Danganronpa made him forget. Although he tries to keep his focus on what's important, his mind is hooked on one person in particular: Shuichi Saihara, the one who he developed feelings for. Eventually, Shuichi will wake up, and Kokichi will have to face him, whether he wants to or not. Shuichi wasn't too fond of Kokichi in the killing game, but, once he learns the truth behind Kokichi's lies, maybe things will be different between the two. ⚠️Warning!⚠️ This fanfiction includes brief mentions of self harm! If you are sensitive to this type of stuff or don't like angsty chapters (although there isn't much angst, I will admit), it would be best if you didn't read this fanfiction. lots of random oneshots most of them have ships! some chapters have ships, but the chapter isn't completely focused on them, more like a side quest. and some chapters won't have ships at all key: -(insert ship name) = entire chapter focused on them -light(insert ship name) = focus may or may not be on them at times, a bigger picture being painted. Likely a "what if this didn't/ did happen?" Type chapter -(no ship) = no ship (wow no shit!)

Shuichi wakes up after the killing game up to none other then kokichi oma looming above him... but isn't he dead? He helps explain shuichis situation and it seems like he's changed so much, hes actually kind of sweet? The two of them get to know eachother more and learn more about themselves in the process. They become fast friends when they realize how much they actually have in common. Will they be more then friends, who knows. Life after the game is difficult. They learn all sorts of things about themselves before the game, memories of those things are coming back and shocking them. Will going back to finish highschool be too much? Au This is my au obviously, I guess there will probobly definetly be ooc, also in this au they go back to finish highschool not just randomly jump to college.
