Kate was empathetic, and wanted Morgan to be her own child. Morgan Grace became Morgan Strucker, the eldest of the three Strucker siblings. Even though Lauren and Andy, the original Strucker children, were confused at first, they welcomed Morgan in, and allowed her to be their sister. Nine year later Andy's power manifest, and the whole Strucker family are on the run, and manage to join the mutant underground, and this is where Morgan's story really begins.

All that remained of the two of them were fragments of what was and what almost was. Taylor Maxwell knew that leaving Atlanta was the right call for her at the time.
