Can you imagine me, Eleanor Genevieve Baker, as a cheerleader?
I was the quiet girl who liked poetry, and Greek mythology. Not back flips and mini skirts.
But when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, she said it was her dying wish (it's only stage one) to move from New York to Olmon, Oregon and for me to become a cheerleader just like she used to be. I don't know if this is her reliving her high school years in me, or trying to make me the daughter she always wanted, but I'm stuck with pom poms now.
Aren't I a good daughter?
