The year is 2019. 29 years ago, in the year 1990, the United States government passed the Prejudice Act. This act outlawed any and all acts of prejudice, and also gave the government permission to implant ID chips into everyone's brain. With the new act, and the ID chips to keep everyone in check, the United States entered an age of peace and prosperity. At least, that's what everyone was told. In reality, a resistance had formed from those who were against the Prejudice Act. They organized attacks against the government, and began to infiltrate their ranks. In response, the government created the Prejudice Department of Justice (or PDoJ for short) - which would secretly fight against the resistance during covert operations. This is where Auden Pike comes in. Auden Pike was a typical 17-year-old girl, until she got offered the extraordinary opportunity to become the youngest member of the Prejudice Department of Justice. She has no idea what the PDoJ is for, but of course she accepts. And soon enough, everything in her life changes. One night, almost a year and a half after joining the PDoJ, Auden is kidnapped by the resistance. Whisked away from her life, Auden finds herself struggling to understand her surroundings and the difficulties that have been brought upon her. Entering a whole new world, Auden begins a long journey through many twists and turns. But the fact is: she won't come out the same. ~~~~~~~~~~ Note: *THIS STORY DOES HAVE SOME LANGUAGE (CURSE WORDS), so if you don't like it, please don't read this* This is my very first story, so I'm really sorry if it's bad.
