This is for my bestie. Atlantis normally kept to himself. Not telling anyone about his life. It's not like it was very interesting anyway. It was pretty normal. He'd never really been bullied, his parents had a very healthy, happy, loving, and strong supportive relationship, and he had the same kind of love and respect for them as they did him. He marbled at the wings his father had built him. Robotic wings that served no purpose but as a shield in case of a school shooting. It was his last year in high school. Surely he wouldn't need it. But he still accepted and wore it to school. It took up almost no room. It fit on his back like a very small backpack. He thought he wouldn't need it. But he eventually did. And he saved a life. A life of which he would not even regret saving, but grow to adore and love throughout his last year. Riker was pretty normal for the average teenager. Almost adult. But she covered her eyes, still able to see fine. Something about her eyes being the Devil's doing. She wasn't religious, but her parents sure as hell were. At least they respected her for deciding to not be religious. That's something good right? Right. But she still did as her parents wished and wore the blindfold on her eyes.
