The year is 1970 and the Royal Caribbean has launched a luxury cruise around the world for the summer. Laurel Dayspring has been hired as a translator for Clayton Goforth, a wealthy young man who's rarely left home in his 26 years of life. However, as she settles in on the ship something quickly becomes abundantly clear: Clayton does not need a translator at all and, in fact, doesn't speak any of the six languages he claimed when hiring her for the job. Instead, she's been hired as a traveling companion for the solitary (and somewhat anxious) millionaire. -- Fluff and angst. Lots of pink. No the cruise ship is not realistic, particularly for the era. It wouldn't be any fun that way. :) Plot idea from dabblewriter.com.
