One Person Company (OPC) registration is a business structure that allows a single person to own and run a company as a separate legal entity. It was introduced in India in 2013 as part of the Companies Act, 2013. The process of OPC registration involves obtaining a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) and Director Identification Number (DIN), reserving a unique name for the company, preparing documents such as Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA), filing forms with the Registrar of Companies (ROC), paying registration fees, and obtaining a Certificate of Incorporation.
