It was too quiet for my liking. The forest engulfed him with welcoming arms, the wind carries the echo of dancing leaves and murmuring pebbles. I kept following him despite the warnings that tugged my heart. I needed to know what he was hiding. I needed to know who he's seeing every time the school sleeps. The more I followed him, the more I hung myself in threads of lost hopes as I always ended up in the same place. The trees stood proudly around me, as the distant sounds of storm sang melodies in my ear. I looked around, and again, he was nowhere to be found. With a regretful sigh, I stepped backward in defeat, ready to exit the unwelcoming woods when an arm swooped it's way towards my waist, pulling me till my back hits the old oak tree. And there welcomed me his eyes that shown glints of amusement and grin that hid mischief. "Tell me, princess, Why do you always follow me?" He whispered in my ear, a dark chuckle growled from his lips.
