Neteyam is traversing his teenage years with his family in the forest, it's his sixteenth birthday when the sky people come back to their world. The last year had been littered with blood and fire. Neteyam along with his brother are ready to prove their worth to their strict father, but after an old enemy that was supposed to be dead comes back for revenge they leave their home. The Sully family ends up in the islands of the metkayina, reef na'vi that live on the ground, complete opposite to them. But as their days grow longer and they become familiar with the way of the water, Neteyam grows closer to one of the sons of the Metkayina Olo'eyktan.

Kiri has a stronger connection to Eywa, helping to save her mother and sister as well as Aonung and Rotxo. Spider saved Quaritch and Quaritch will be back for revenge on the sully's. Tuk stays close to her mother and Neytiri protects her children while her children are growing and finding their mates with the Metkayina tribe.Complete

Ao'nung Tsireya and Nylah'a are in charge of showing the Sully kids how to adapt to the reef. Nylah'a the oldest daughter of Ronal and Toniwari, catches the eye of a particular Sully boy.
