Chris Sinclair fades under a dark cloud after losing his mother to cancer. On the cusp of adulthood, he doesn't know where he should go or how to get there. But watching life pass him by was never the plan, and when he is forced to attend a concert in an attempt to coax him out of his shell, he discovers that life might have more to offer.

Dante Heron holds the audience between his delicate bow and the tips of his fingers. He plays the violin as if every heart is his to command, but the discipline needed to perfect his skills has left him with nothing to spare. He's a fire that burns too bright or not at all-unpredictable and demanding.

When Chris is unexpectedly offered a job to travel around Europe as Dante's assistant, or 'friend', he surprises himself by accepting. Their journey barely starts before Chris realizes he's in over his head. Every step along the way is fraught with tension, and the farther they go, the closer they veer to a breaking point.

Invisible strings are at play, stitched into Dante's life by those who should have taught him how to love. Perhaps Chris is right to be afraid, but sometimes, what you fear the most is what you can't afford to lose.

"This was a bad idea," Benny paced back and forth in the room. "It's not that bad," Will assured him. "Yes, it is!" the man was this close to pulling his hair out. His hands were already tangled into the short tuffs. "They're a horrible match, there's no chance of them getting together, let alone staying together, and - DID THEY JUST KISS?!" * Jasper Copperwright is a prodigy. At 21, he's already looking at inheriting his father's multibillion dollar technology company. His intelligence is highly sought after. And with brains, also comes looks that he was blessed with. Men and women everywhere are willing to throw themselves at this handsome devil. It's a shame that they all get met with heartbreak. While they might be fun for a night or two, none of them are worthy of a commitment. Damien Klein is a 19-year-old college student from Germany. He somehow convinced his strict parents to let him go to school at the University of Amor. Dramatic, stubborn, and not one to bite his tongue, Damien keeps his everyday life private from his parents and family. For all they know, he is just going to school to become an editor. Neither of them would have thought that they would meet up. After all, they're both from two different backgrounds. One was able to get whatever he wanted, and the other had to keep everything about himself hidden. When they do find each other, Jasper can't help but be intrigued by the young man, along with the stories he winds up writing. Stuck up Jasper is only going to get in this sassy blond's pants if he is somehow able to look past his own ego and take things a little slower. This writer knows how to hook someone in, but is he able to keep him at the edge of his seat until the very last page? After all that goes down, does he really want to? * Standalone of the "Impress Me Not" series. Third book, if you want to read them in order. Completed!
The Snowy-haired Genius by _Lost-in-stars_
36 parts Complete Mature
Jason Williams didn't think going out to dinner with his family was going to be any different than usual. Comments about his sexuality, some teasing from his brothers, and lots of paparazzi. You know, nothing strange at all. But a fight with his father made Jason storm out of the restaurant, down an alleyway, and suddenly his life isn't the usual anymore. He woke up in an unfamiliar dark room, and a handsome boy opened his door to explain. The snowy-haired genius was holding him captive until he got what he wanted. Life couldn't be worse. Warning: This book contains mental issues such as depression, schizophrenia, and others. If you're sensitive to that kind of thing, then you should probably think twice before reading this. Of course, if you want to read it and you're sensitive, I'm not stopping you. This book only touches upon the subjects; It doesn't go deep into suicide attempts and voices. Remember despite the hate these mental illnesses receive, I believe you. Mental illnesses are no joke, they're not something I try to use for views. I am not hating on the illnesses. I know it's hard, but they are relevant to the book so I had to include them. If you're feeling depressed, please talk to a counsellor. Or, if you're too scared for that, I'll happily listen and give you advice. Thank you! (I needed to include this because I didn't want people thinking I thought the mental illnesses were stupid. I don't, I promise. I love you, and I need you to keep fighting!)

Harlyn Evans is really good at taking care of everyone else. He's not as good at taking care of himself.
