Case Presentation A 26-year-old male was referred by his family physician to the gastroenterology clinic for valuation. The patient was a known case of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), as diagnosed by his physician two years back, and was currently struggling with his abdominal symptoms; which included bloating, loose bowel movements up to 3-4 times per day, together with episodes of cold sweats, diffuse abdominal pain and diarrhea after eating out at restaurants and dinner parties, especially if food eaten was fatty/oily and contained milk products.
