Slowly losing hope of her dreams, a young, handsome white man meets her. "I'm Austen." He said chuckling. It was at that moment that (even though she was hesitant) she realized she finally made a friend. Will Austen and Winter end up as a couple ? Will Austen help Winter succeed at her dancing dreams ? Or does Austen have something else in mind. . . ?

This is the first poem I ever wrote. I wrote it for my uncle that passed away. I won third place at my state Beta club poetry competition with it. This is also the first poem that I have gotten published.
