Jeremy Heere is a junior in high school, and all he wants is to survive. This turns out to be harder than he imagined seeing that his father is depressed, his mother left, he only has one friend, his crush doesn't know that he exists, he faces bullying by his peers, and just wishes that someone would help him out. After a peer tells him about a pill he can take to help him, Jeremy takes it and it goes downhill from there. Michael Mell is a junior in high school, and all he wants is to be happy. He is tired of being stuck in an abusive household and he is trying to ignore the fact that he is crushing on his best friend of twelve years. After Jeremy gets into drugs, Michael has to decide if he will follow his friend and try to save him from himself, or if he will continue to be stuck in this cycle of terrible that is his life. This book is for all the people who want to see them sad and kiss. (maybe fuck who knows). It's all angst here. Enjoy your stay. The one part there is (so far): Virgil attempts suicide but princey finds him. "Why...?": Same as before but Prince finds him too late. "Hanahaki": Pretty much the title but with a twist at the end. "My most un-original idea yet": Virgil is an assassin, his job to kill roman, after working for him for 3 years the deed will be done. "Useless": Roman isn't as cheery as he always appears, maybe he needs to stop being a prince and let someone else save him

So, this is a weird one. This is the same storyline of the musical "Be More Chill" with a few exceptions. I changed the gender identity and sexuality of some of the characters, as well as some ethnicities because that is how I envisioned them while listening to the soundtrack. And obviously, Jeremy and Mikey get together in the end because they had way more chemistry and why else would you be here? If this isn't your style, I made the same fanfiction but had the characters stay the same as in canon. (Except for Jeremy and Michael getting together because why else would you be here?) That is the other book in this series. (Boyf Riends, it's on my profile) So, this is really just for fun, enjoy if you want! I also hope that you enjoy how I turned musical numbers into paragraphs.
