As the 1790s reach a raucous end, one young idler invents celebrity culture. Beau Brummell is seriously stylish, witheringly witty and ultra urbane: qualities which amount to careless creases in a cheap cravat when High Society makes an enemy of a certain butler lurking in the shadows!

Fan fiction/historical comedy/mockumentarisation of some of Ben Elton and William Shakespeare's best work. I went for kind of a Monty Python vibe along the way. It's sort of complete, I want it to be read as a book instead of the screenplay format it was created in but not rewriting it any time soon.

I look out my window, watching the girls outside laughing and talking on their way home from school. As usual, they stop and wait for one girl, a tall brunette, to fix her infinitely untied shoe.
