Jihyo was currently dating Kang Daniel. But her parents don't accept them because Daniel is a bad kid. Instead, they want her to marry you, Yang Y/n, a rich and well behaved woman. They want Jihyo to love you for a better future.
Jihyo's POV.
We were all together in a room talking and not gonna lie, Y/n looks kinda good okay? But hasn't said a single word.
Mom: "Sweetie, please just be with her."
Jihyo: "No, I'm not gonna be with someone I don't know!"
Dad: "Why do you want Daniel anyways?"
Jihyo: "Because he treats me good."
Mr. Yang: "Would it be okay if you signed the marriage papers today Jihyo?"
Mrs. Yang: "Y/n already did."
Dad: "Do it, it's the least you can do for your behavior today-
Then Y/n stood up, hands in her pockets.
Y/n: "Let's not rush things Mr and Mrs. Park. I don't want Jihyo doing anything she's not comfortable with doing. I did my part already, now Jihyo has to do hers if she wants."
HER VOICE! WHY DOES IT SOUND DEEP!
Mom: "Of course Y/n, sorry about her."
She smiled and I almost died.
Y/n: "No worries Mrs. Park, I'm sorry too as I didn't say a word until now. I hope we can meet again, maybe next time we'll meet as daughter-in-law and parents-in-law yeah?"
She playfully smirked as we laughed...wait I laughed!
Mrs. Yang: "We need to talk about some things still. Y/n, can you take Jihyo to grab a drink?"
Y/n: "Yeah of course. C'mon Jihyo."
We stepped out and Y/n smiled at me.
Jihyo: "Get rid of the smile Y/n."
Y/n: "What do you want to drink?"
Jihyo: "Nothing from you. Why did you agree anyways?"
She smiled but there was more behind that smile.
Y/n: "Let's go grab a drink."
Jihyo: *scoffs* "Fine."
We walked to the cafe.
Y/n: "What do you want?"
Jihyo: "I said I don't want anything-
Y/n: "Okay, I'll surprise you."
She went to go order and came back. She handed me a cup.
Jihyo: "I'm not drinking this, you might've put something in it-
Y/n: "Just drink it you complainer."
She said in a annoyed tone it shocked both of us. I took a sip and my face lit up.
Jihyo: "I-It's good actually."
She just stared at me and walked out with me following her. Why does it hurt when she just did that to me?
We walked back without another word.
Dad: "Done?"
Y/n: "Yep."
Mrs. Yang: "Please think about the paperwork again Jihyo."
They smiled at me before walking off, but Y/n was still here.
Mom: "Aren't you gonna go with your parents?"
Y/n: "Oh no, I'm waiting for the valet to bring me my car."
Then a BMW I8 pulled up. The doors were cool because it opened like a Lamborghini!
Staff: "Here you go Ms."
Y/n: "Thanks."
She turned to us and bowed.
Y/n: "Let's meet again Mr and Mrs. Park."
Then she looked at me.
Y/n: "See you around Jihyo."
We watched her drive away with a zoom.
Dad: "She's way better than your Daniel and you still choose Daniel."
Mom: "Y/n would give a better future for you but I guess you want to be living under a bridge."
Jihyo: "What-
Dad: "Let's go home, I'm embarrassed. You probably yelled at Y/n at the cafe huh?"
Jihyo: "No I didn't!"
Mom: "Yeah, that explains her gloom expression. Let's go home."
A few days later we all met up again. But this time, Daniel was furious and came along.
Mom: "Why'd you bring him Jihyo?"
Jihyo: "He came himself!"
Dad: "Daniel, you cannot come into this building."
Daniel: "Why not! Jihyo's going to marry someone she doesn't even know-
The doors opened and there stood Y/n.
Y/n: "What's going on?"
Mom: "Someone won't leave us alone Y/n."
Y/n: "Dude, you gotta go while I'm still being nice. I don't wanna call security on you."
Daniel: "Psh, you're weak if you call security."
She slowly leaned closer to him.
Y/n: "I forgot to mention, I am the security guard. Pack it up and go before I do something."
Daniel: "N-No! My girlfriend is not gonna marry anyone!"
Y/n: "Ah, so you're the boyfriend of my wife?"
She looked at him up and down.
Y/n: "Honey, you could've done a little better than this guy."
Daniel clenched his fists and threw a punch. But Y/n caught his punch.
Y/n: "Okay, you've had too many chances."
Then a handcuff came out of nowhere and locked onto Daniel's wrist.
Daniel: "Let go of me!"
Y/n: "You're an unwanted guest here, time for a ticket. Mr and Mrs. Park, please make your way up to the room. I'll be there shortly, sorry for the inconvenience."
Jihyo: "Don't worry about it Y/n-
They all looked at me.
Daniel: "You're siding with her babe?"
Y/n: "Is she?"
She was also confused! All of us were, even me!
Mom: "Oh? So you do like her?"
Y/n: *coughs* "Let's get going dude."
She kept pushing Daniel towards the designated place.
In the room.
We were waiting for Y/n to come back and she did, with a small cut on her lip.
Y/n: "Sorry for the long wait."
Jihyo: "What happened to your lip?"
Y/n: "Don't worry about it."
She sat down and we started.
After.
Mr. Yang: "Y/n, please take Jihyo to the main hall to eat."
Dad: "We'll join you guys shortly."
Y/n: "Okay."
We stepped out.
Jihyo: "What really happened to your lip?"
Y/n: "That boyfriend of yours gave me a souvenir. Don't worry, I gave him a bigger one. Why do you ask?"
Jihyo: "Where is he?"
Y/n: "He got picked up by his probation officer already."
Jihyo: "Why did you even agree to marry me?"
She stopped walking.
Y/n: "Let's not talk about it."
We ate dinner together and split up with our families but there was a surprise.
Mom: "You'll be spending the night with Y/n at her house. Go on."
Jihyo: "What?"
Y/n: "She doesn't have to-
Dad: "No, she will go. Right Jihyo?"
Jihyo: "F-Fine!"
Mrs. Yang: "Take her home Y/n."
Y/n: "I will mom. Let's go Jihyo."
She grabbed my hand and I tried to pull away when she held it tighter. I stopped trying.
Mr. Yang: "We'll see you two tomorrow for the final confirmation here."
Jihyo: "Of course."
We bowed and left. As soon as we left the building, I let go of her hand.
Jihyo: "Take me to go see Daniel first."
Y/n: "No-
Jihyo: "Then I'll stay with you."
Y/n: *sighs* "Fine."
Daniel: "Jihyo!"
Jihyo: "Daniel!"
He had a black eye and his lip were still swollen a little.
Daniel: "Leave her and come be with me, I'll make you happy."
Jihyo: "Let's sit first, I wanna talk with you."
Y/n's POV.
I watched the two be lovers for an hour.
Y/n: "Let's go back Jihyo."
Jihyo: "What-
Daniel: "Let us be."
Y/n: "Do you want another black eye on the other side of your face? No, I didn't think so. Let's go before it gets too late."
I grabbed her arm from Daniel and we left.
Home.
Jihyo: "Y/n-
Y/n: "The maids will tell you where to sleep tonight."
We walked inside and I went straight to my room.
After doing my night routine, I went on my phone and sat on the couch. Then the door opened.
Maid: "Ms. Yang, Jihyo will sleep with you tonight. Command from your parents."
Y/n: "Okay, thank you."
Jihyo came in and sat uncomfortably on my bed.
Y/n: "What is it that you want to ask?"
Jihyo: "Why did you agree to marry me?"
I stopped typing on my phone and looked at her.
Y/n: "My whole life, girls have only chased after me for my money. I've never felt real love from someone until I met you. You make me feel better and make me want to be with you more. Can you please sign the papers?"
Jihyo: "I don't even know you-
Y/n: "I don't know you either Jihyo but I fell in love with you the second my eyes landed on you. You don't have to love me back, just sign the paper so my parents aren't ashamed of me. I won't touch or even look at you again after you sign it."
Jihyo: "Y/n-
Y/n: "What are you doing to me Jihyo? Sometimes you're mean and sometimes you give me false hope that you like me too. We've only met twice and you're already giving me these feelings. Just be honest, do you like me back?"
Jihyo: "I...I don't know Y/n."
Y/n: *sighs* "Then why are you here? Why are you in my house? You should've said no if you don't like me, then I wouldn't have brought you home."
Jihyo: "I'm sorry Y/n, I don't know either. I'm confused right now."
Y/n: "Let's go to sleep."
I laid down next to her but she wasn't laying down. I sat up and looked at her.
Y/n: "What's wrong? Are you uncomfortable?"
Jihyo: "N-No."
Y/n: "If you're not comfortable, I can sleep in the other room. I'm not gonna do anything to you without your consent. I'm not like that, you're pure and innocent so I wouldn't do any bad things to you. Go to sleep okay?"
She nodded and we both laid down. I faced the other way though so she wasn't looking at me.
Jihyo: "Y/n?"
Y/n: "Hm?"
Jihyo: "Do you really...love me already even though we just met?"
Y/n: "Yeah I do, I believe in love at first sight. Even if you don't love me back, let me love you."
Jihyo: "Then you'd be in pain throughout our whole marriage."
Y/n: "Well I'd rather be in pain loving you than not see you at all. But if you want to be with Daniel...then be with him."
Jihyo: "Y/n-
Y/n: "Go to sleep and stop asking questions you don't want answers to."
Jihyo: "But-
Y/n: "Stop before I kiss you and hold you tight."
Jihyo: "O-Okay."
I don't know what happened next because I fell asleep.
Jihyo's POV.
I woke up and saw no Y/n. The toilet flushed and she came out of the bathroom.
Y/n: "Go get ready."
Jihyo: "Do we need to go back?"
Y/n: "Not until tonight, go get ready so we can eat."
Jihyo: "What time is it?"
Y/n: "It's literally 2 pm."
Jihyo: "I slept for that long!"
Y/n: "Jesus woman!"
She covered her ears.
Jihyo: "Sorry."
Y/n: "You can borrow some of my clothes, go."
I rushed into the bathroom.
After what seemed like hours trying to find some of her clothes that can fit me, we went downstairs.
Jihyo: "Why are you dressed up so fancy?"
Y/n: "This is what I wear everyday so get use to it babe."
Jihyo: "I-I'm not your babe!"
She laughed.
Y/n: "We can eat and then do anything you want."
Jihyo: "Can I go see Daniel then?"
Her smile slowly went away.
Y/n: "Sure."
After eating it was like 6 pm. It took us 2 damn hours to eat and Y/n wanted to show me her house, well her parents demanded her to, and that took like 4 hours.
We were now in the car driving to where Daniel lived.
Y/n's POV,
Y/n: "We're here."
Jihyo: "Come with me."
Y/n: "No, I don't want to see him."
Jihyo: "Fine."
She got out and I stayed in the car. Jihyo was gone for awhile so I went out to go look for her.
Jihyo's POV.
I closed the car door and was about to knock on the front door when I heard chatter from the backyard. I was about to open the gate to the back when I saw through the crack, Daniel was already kissing someone else. He lied to me about leaving Y/n. If I did leave Y/n and make up my mind of not signing the paper, Daniel would've done this still. My life could've been shattered. I don't know how long I was standing there until I felt a jacket wrap around my upper body. Y/n.
Y/n: "Let's go home yeah? Stop wasting your time on someone who doesn't give a shit about you."
Jihyo: "I-I don't wanna walk right now Y/n, I can't."
Y/n: "Hold on then."
I was lifted off my feet, Y/n was carrying me and I laid my head on her chest. God she was strong.
Y/n put me in the passenger seat of the car and drove. She drove me to Han River where the sun was about to set with the lights and everything.
She carried me out and placed me down on a bench and sat next to me. We sat in silence until I spoke.
Jihyo: "I've made my decision."
Y/n: "And that is?"
I faced her.
Jihyo: "You, I choose you Y/n."
Y/n: "Are you sure?"
Jihyo: "You'll love me right? Better than Daniel? You're gonna take care of me and cherish me everyday right? Please make me feel wanted Y/n, I'm enough right?"
She held my hand and kissed it.
Y/n: "I will protect and love you everyday. I promise to make you feel loved and wanted so that question won't pop up in your head ever again. I love you a lot already and that's never gonna change from now on. But, are you sure it's me?"
Jihyo: "There you go doubting yourself again. You're enough for me Y/n and I'm sorry I didn't realize earlier."
Y/n: "But you-
Jihyo: "Shh."
I pulled her closer to me and our lips connected. It was like a spark and then the rest of the energy cement through both of us. We were meant to be.
After some time there, we drove back to the building.
We entered the building while holding hands which surprised our parents.
Mom: "Omo!"
Mrs. Yang: *GASPS* "Have you decided?"
I smiled.
Y/n: "Welcome Jihyo and her parents to our family."
They all grabbed their hearts in aw as we planned the wedding and I finally signed the papers. After doing that, we went back home. While walking to our car, Y/n squeezed my hand.
Jihyo: "What's wrong?"
She smiled like an idiot.
Y/n: "I wonder how our kids will turn out. Stubborn like you or good looking like me?"
Jihyo: "Yah! I am not stubborn!"
She rolled her eyes with a smile.
Y/n: "Yeah, explains why it took you so long to realize it was me you're supposed to be with. But I'll let it go because you're in my arms now."
She kissed me quickly and then ran to the car. I blinked before chasing after her.
Jihyo: "YAH! YOU ARE SO DEAD YANG Y/N!"
