"hey (Y/N).." Genya walks up behind (Y/N) as she was changing their shoes to leave the school ground. (Y/N) looks behind her to see a familiar face, "Hey what's up?" (Y/N) finishes changing her shoes to face Genya. he was standing with his hands in his pockets looking away with a slightly bashful look. "I was wondering if you wanted to come to a small get-together, I'm not sure if Tanjiro had asked if you wanted to come. it's not big just my older brother and his friends, some work colleagues, and some others" Genya seemed a little bashful speaking to a girl so pretty. (Y/N)'s eyes lit up with the chance to see her older siblings since they came back from abroad, "of course!" (Y/N) seemed so happy, Genya seemed a little shocked but smiled with a small blush. "Cool, I'll pick you up whenever you're ready" Genya was proud of himself for staying calm but he was very happy inside. he waved to (Y/N) before walking off with a small, unnoticeable bounce in his step.
when (Y/N) got home the first thing she did was start looking around her wardrobe for what to wear to this get-together, "should I wear something cute?" (Y/N) walks in front of her full body mirror and shakes her head "no, too cute", (Y/N) grabs a pair of jeans and a shirt and holds it to her body in front of the mirror "a pair of nice jeans? nah". (Y/N) starts thinking and gets an idea "What about something pink!" she grabs a light pink fabric that resembles the kimono Nezuko likes to wear to festivals. "wait no that's Nezuko's style" (Y/N) sighs in defeat but glances over at a pair of white formal pants "maybe something classy would look nice" (Y/N) mumbles to herself as she grabs the white pants that she pairs with a black V neck shirt. she puts it on and looks at the mirror. "somethings missing.." (Y/N) looks confused and glances at all the clothes on her bed and in her wardrobe before she notices a black and white blazer. (Y/N) added some matching shoes.
(Y/N) looks at herself in the mirror and smiles to herself "Perfect" (Y/N) quickly takes her bag and puts her essentials into it, like her house keys, wallet and purse. (Y/N) quickly messages Genya to let him know that she's ready.

Shinazugawa Genya
"no probs, I'll be there in 10 minutes"
(Y/N) smiles and holds in her excitement as she waited patiently near the door. "what are you all dressed up for?" Kie Kamado, (Y/N)'s mother asks noticing her third oldest sitting nearby the door. "Genya asked me to go to a hangout where Tanjiro and Nezuko are going to be" (Y/N) says with an excited tone "Oh my, that's wonderful. tell them to come home to visit" Kie says with a smile before going back to look after the younger children. around 5 minutes later Genya arrived to pick (Y/N) up on his motorcycle, (Y/N) leaves the house and locks the door behind her. (Y/N) sits behind Genya and puts her arms around his waist. Genya visibly jumps "Are you ok?" (Y/N) asked with a bit of concern, "I-I'm fine, put this on" Genya stutters and hands (Y/N) a spare helmet. it's not noticeable but Genya blushes a little under his helmet once (Y/N) put her arms back around his waist.
Genya might seem grumpy and rude on the surface but in reality, he's just a cutie that doesn't know how to socialize. the ride went smoothly while (Y/N) was thinking of how her siblings were, she was mostly curious about Zenitsu's and Nezuko's engagement. no matter how much Tanjiro and Nezuko wrote home there was never a proper way to contact them due to them being very busy with their jobs.
when the two arrived at the restaurant where the get-together was Genya just walked in silently and sat down next to Sanemi who just glances at him, when (Y/N) catches his eye his eyes lit up and soften a bit but hides it well from anyone's knowledge. (Y/N) notices a lot of interesting-looking people at the get-together. there was a couple at the end of the table, a woman with pink and green hair was the most noticeable due to how many plates and bowls are around her from how much she has eaten. the woman was talking to someone with black hair who looks to be wearing a mask, between her eating. the man was looking at her quite lovingly. the guy's most noticeable traits were his snack around his neck and his eyes, the guy has beautiful heterochromia eyes, one blue and one yellow. the two both have rings on their fingers.
a woman with black hair that fades into purple with a butterfly ribbon talking to an annoyed man with his black hair in a ponytail on the other side of the table. the man was eating silently and looked as if he wanted to leave. some loud shouts could be heard from a blond man with red ends, he was shouting after every bite about how tasty it is next to a huge guy with prayer beads eating silently. the huge guy seemed to be crying slightly. the guy sitting next to Genya's older brother was a flashy-looking guy with three women on his sides, one woman was calm while the other two were fighting about who was going to pour the guy's sake next. Next to Zenitsu was a guy that was acting widely with black hair that ended in blue while the girl next to him with pigtails was trying to calm him down. next to Zenitsu was Nezuko who was holding Zenitsu's hand while he was acting a lovey-dovey, Tanjiro and Kanao were talking about food and food choices while eating. Kanao looked at Tanjiro with love in her eyes.
The atmosphere itself was quite lively. (Y/N) walks up to Tanjiro and Nezuko who notices her and make room for her to sit in the middle. (Y/N) smiles and sits down, she stalks making conversations with them. both Tanjiro and Nezuko hugged (Y/N) after a long time apart. (Y/N) giggles and gives them their mother's message.

After some time later Sanemi notices someone who walks in "Sanemi senpai? Can I speak with you?" he asks awkwardly at the door when the guy notices all the people looking at him. Sanemi just grunts and gets up annoyed, Sanemi leaves the room quietly with the man. one the pair gets to a private area the man speaks up "Here are your damn photos" The man says annoyed, Sanemi just snatches the photos before smirking. "these are good enough, keep up the good work." Sanemi says as he throws a small bag of money at the man. he looks at the bag and checks the amount before speaking up "Now my daughter?" he asks a bit of fear. "you get her back once I get my adorable (Y/N)" Sanemi says in an annoyed tone before walking back to the get-together. Sanemi shoves the photos into his pocket while walking.
as Sanemi walks back into the room he glances at (Y/N) she talked and laughed with her siblings. oh (Y/N) I'll take you one day, you will stay with me no matter what the cost is
Sanemi thinks as he smirks before sitting back down to stare at (Y/N) and looking away when she notices.

after the dinner half of the group decided to go home while the rest leaves for the after-party at the Shinazugawa household. (Y/N) stood a little bored while everyone was drinking, except for a couple who had to drive home. Sanemi approaches her, and (Y/N) could hear his heavy footsteps from a distance away. "what's your problem?" Sanemi says looking annoyed and trying his best to sound rude and disgraceful. "it's nothing, you're Genya's older brother right?"

Sanemi starts looking around bored and thinks of a place to take her, "do you want to get out of here?" he asks as he looks down at (Y/N). (Y/N) nods hesitantly. once Shinazugawa notices her nod he grabs her wrist and leads her outside, he continues to lead her towards a park and stops on a small hill. the view of the whole city, (Y/N) looks at the city in awe as Sanemi only looks at her. in a slit second Sanemi grabs her face and kisses her forcefully. (Y/N) struggles to get free from his grasp but Sanemi was a lot stronger than her. the more (Y/N) struggles the more Sanemi tightens his grip on her. (Y/N) tries to claw on his hands and arms, Sanemi moves his arm around her neck where she tries to struggle more. a sudden snap can be heard but Sanemi doesn't think much of it, once (Y/N) stops struggling Sanemi lets go. "now that was easy wasn't it?" Sanemi says sarcastically but (Y/N) doesn't reply.
Genya walks past Sanemi's bedroom and notices that the door is open, he goes to close it but he notices a small lamp on. Genya walks in to turn off the lamp but stops before he could when he notices pictures and papers all over the desk. Genya looks closer to see that everything was about (Y/N), from social media posts to pictures and information from a privet investigator. Genya gasps and quickly turns off the lamp and quickly leaves the room, closing the door behind him. Genya looks terrified and is now thinking of how much of a stalker his older brother is.

when Sanemi returns to the Shinazugawa household everyone has already left and gone home, Sanemi kicks off everything from the couch and lays the sleeping (Y/N) onto the couch while he makes some meals for him, (Y/N) and Genya. Genya notices (Y/N) on the couch, Genya tries to shake (Y/N) awake but she doesn't move. Genya then notices that (Y/N) has stopped breathing. Genya gasps and falls back, he looks over at his brother in the kitchen in fear of what his brother did to (Y/N) or what happened.
Genya walked up to Sanemi quietly "Sanemi? w-what happened to (Y/N)?.. why is she d-dead?" Genya asks in a slightly scared tone but tried to act tough and brave. Sanemi stopped and looked behind him at Genya "What do you mean?, she's just sleeping" Sanemi glared over at Genya before going back to cutting up vegetables. "what's going to happen when Tanjiro or Nezuko find out that you killed their younger sister?" Genya asks again a little more scared. "SHES NOT DEAD" Sanemi yells as he bangs the knife onto the bench with a crazed look on his face. Sanemi glares at Genya "She's just asleep, don't say that she's dead again"
