"You ready?" Elijah asked me
"Almost!" I shouted from the bathroom
Elijah was taking me out today... I don't know where, he says it's a surprise. But he did tell me to dress up cozy....

"I can't believe you're making us stay away from Kiara on her birthday. We're her best friends, you know!" Bri nagged
"Exactly!!" Clara backed Bri up.
"Oh c'mon let a man spend time with his future wife" Sin defended Elijah
"Hello room service... yeah I need 2 pizzas.. double chesse... both large, yes ma'am... yes wait let me ask... do you guys need anything?" Noah looked at others
"Wait... was all of that your personal order?" Elijah asked while tying his shoes.
"Yeah dude, don't even ask for a bite because you won't get any. Order your own pizza... okay?" Noah said and then continued his talk with the room service
"They don't want anything... yes, please add the bill to Mr. Elijah Black's account. Yes, thank you"
"Yes, of course he is making Elijah pay for it..." Sin mumbled
"Hazel is a billionaire dude, how can some hundreds ruin his life.." Noah mumbled back
"It's all cool, Noah...." Elijah mumbled.
"I'm ready..." I said while getting out of the bathroom.
My eyes met Elijah's and we both just stayed there for a couple of seconds... he was looking stunning. I mean I could literally smell the rich scent of his from this far.The soft fabric of his overcoat on which I will rest my face while we hug... ugh I'm a psychopath.
We just kept staring until Clara and Bri ran towards me and started seeing the outfit from all angles
"I don't know why Blair said that you have no style. Look at you. Doesn't she look amazing dude?" Bri asked Elijah.
I saw back at Elijah, but he was zoned out... just looking at me.
"Elijah!!!!" Bri screamed
"Huh... oh yeah... Um... whatever you said. Come on Kiara.. we're getting late...." Elijah said while walking out.
"I'm sorry that was 'yes you look extremely gorgeous' in asshole language.... it's quite famous around here" Sin said and we all laughed
"Thanks... I better head out. Bye guys!!"
"Bye, Kiara!! Enjoy!! Oh... and happy birthday" Noah yelled after I walked out.
When I walked down I saw Elijah near a car talking on the phone.
I walked up to him "yeah we are just getting in the car. Okay cool" he said and cut the phone
"You ready to celebrate your birthday?" He asked
"I'm not a really big fan of surprises though..."
"Don't worry, after today you will be...." he opened the door for me and I settled in.
For the whole ride we just talked about random stuff, dancing to songs, teasing each other and singing competitions ... I already loved my birthday.
After half an hour of drive the car came to a stop in front of a small cozy cottage.
...okay....maybe not that small.
"What are we doing here?" I asked Elijah
"I have a surprise for you... C'mon" he took my hands in his hands and then stuffed both our hands in his overcoat's pocket
As we entered the cottage I saw uncle Parker settling food on the table.

"Aunty Kiara!!" Amy shouted and hugged me
"Oh my godd!! Hello princess.... hi Steven!!"
"Hi Aunty" Steven said while hugging me too.
These kids were the ones we met outside the ice cream parlor. They look so much better, healthier and happier. I'm so glad Elijah could provide them with the love they deserved.
I looked at Elijah with my big puppy dog eyes, this the best fucking surprise ever!!!
He returned my facial expression with the most genuine smile.
God I love him.
"Aunty Kiara! See Aunty Linda packed us some food" Amy said while taking my finger in her hand and leading me to the table.
"Hi it's great meeting you again, Kiara" Uncle Parker said while hugging me.
"Likewise... thank you for taking such good care of them..."
"You don't have to thank me... thank Elijah, he is also the one who asked me to bring them here for a surprise on your first date..."
I blushed
"Oh and how do they know aunty Linda?" I asked
"She is my wife.." Parker answered
"Oh!! I should have connected the dots..." I said
"Come here cupcake, eat your food before we all head out." Elijah called out
"Head out? Together? Where?"
"Jeez women you ask too many questions!" He said while getting up and guiding me to the table, he pulled out a seat for me and made me sit next to Steven.
"Steven you have grown so tall! I bet you'll be taller that Elijah" I said
"I hope so... he is everything I want to be." Steven said, I made a 'aww' face
"You will be much more than I am, Steven" Elijah said with a big smile on his face
Steven had to take a big responsibility from a really early stage, his sister. Feeding her, helping her grow... practically raising her and himself all alone. He became mature at a very young age, throwing away his whole childhood and innocence.
Somehow like Elijah.
However, Steven had it more difficult... he didn't have someone from the start, guiding him, caring for him and loving him... Elijah did...
But now Steven does. He always will. I'll make sure of it...
"Let's head out.. are you guys ready for some fun?!" Elijah asked while clapping his hands
"Uh- is.. is it okay if I hold uncle Elijah's hand.." Amy whispered in my ears so Elijah couldn't hear her, she was looking down on the floor with the most purest eyes that sparkled with shyness.
I bent down and whispered in her ears "you can kiss him too if you want... it'll be our little secret bud"
"Really?! Thank you!!" Amy squealed and ran towards Elijah and holding his finger with her whole hand.
Her single hand was equivalent to his one finger.
"Let's go!!" I said while holding Steven's shoulder and dragging him out.
"Bye uncle Parker" Steven yelled
"Bye!! Have fun"
After a few minutes we had reached our destination.
An Ice Maze!!!
Oh my god!!
I have never been here before... never even heard of such a thing...
"Elijah..." I mumbled and he embraced me in a hug from the back, he whispered in my ears "this is the reason why everyone was busy on your eve."
"You guys made this maze.... with your hands... out in the cold?" I asked horrifiedly
"Yeah.. I was planning this for a month... and they all helped me build it. Damn!! we even made Blair distract you" he said while winking at me and waking away.

This guy... literally spoils me in the best way possible. I swear he will be the death of me.
"Yay a maze!!!!" Amy screamed and ran inside "Careful there, Amy" Steven yelled and ran after her in the maze.
Elijah grabs my hand and runs inside with me.
"Where did they go?!" I asked and Elijah shushed me by putting a finger on my lips. "Just follow me.."
He sneaked on the right side, the kids had gone left.
Elijah hid behind a wall, totally invisible to the kids on the other side.
Steven was trying to calm down Amy by telling her "we're not lost, baby sis and I promise that no snow ghost will attack you..."
"But... but.. ste-Steven.. I'm so scared... my friends back at home told me about how they were attacked by a snow ghost. Please- please call uncle and aunty"
I made a pouty face to Elijah that said awww for Amy's cuteness. He chuckled quietly..
He arrowed me to the direction we have to run to scare them.
1-2-3, he symboled with his fingers and when he lip synced 'go'..... we ran and said "boooo" to the kids.
"AHHHHHH" Amy and Steven screamed
Amy hid behind Steven.

"The ghost, THE GHOST STEVEN!! Kill him!!!! Right now!!" Amy screamed
Elijah and I started laughing historically!!
Amy was still clenching on Steven's coat... Steven was stroking his hands on her back, trying to calm her down.
After Amy recognized me and Elijah's laugh, she came out and made a pouty face "That's not fair!!! You fooled me!!!"
"I'm sorry, Princess... but you have to admit it was so much fun" Elijah said bending down to her height and embracing her in a hug.
"Were you that scared of snow ghosts, Amy?"
"Yes, I'm so scared of them..." she said while hugging Elijah tight.
"Don't worry, Amy... your uncle will fight any ghosts who tries to hurt you." Elijah whispered
"Really? You're the best"
"Steven, did you get scared too?" I asked
"NO! I mean-.... big boys don't get scared...."
"Don't lie... you screamed and you also had tears in your eyes." Amy said while going near him.
"No I didn't... zip it" he said while covering Amy's mouth
Elijah and I laughed and told them to continue the maze. We all found the ending after 10 minutes!! It was so fucking tough...
"Okay children now... Mr Parker will take you to snowboarding and other fun games... then you can head back to the cottage and rest" Elijah said
"But what about us? Aren't we going with them?" I asked
"Noo... he has planned for you to see-" Amy was about to speak out his plans but before she could do that Steven covered her mouth.
"What is going on?! Elijah?" I asked
"Nothing nothing... she is bluffing" Elijah said, but before I could investigate more, uncle Parker came out of the car that was parked just by the end of the maze.
"Shall we head back?" He asked
"Yes kids, get in the car" Elijah said
"Okay... Bye aunty!!" The kids said their goodbyes and went.
After they left I opened my mouth instantly to start interrogating....
"Before you ask anything... I'm not gonna tell you so don't bother" Elijah said while dragging me to his car...
"Ugh you're so annoying, Black!!"
"Yeah babe I know how much you love me"
After 15 minutes of drive we had reached a point where there was nothing, no people, no noises....
"Are we lost?" I asked Elijah
"No babe... it's almost time." Wait what did he mean?
He got out of the car... he came to my side and opened the door for me.
"I want you to close your eyes, cupcake"
"But-"
"Just do it"
I did.
He gently placed a soft cotton blindfold on my eyes and then he took my hand in his and led me straight. It was so quiet.... so peaceful.
Only the sound of his breaths on my neck and our footsteps on the ground... which by the sound of it was.... frozen water, maybe a lake.
I really want to see what's going on....
"Okay... now slowly take off your blindfold" he whispered in my ears from behind.
I did
"Oh Jesus...." I breathed out
"You like it?"
The sight that was above me was priceless... it was the most magical thing I have ever seen.... but the reason for the smile on my face was not the view.
It was this person, my person... Elijah.
It felt like it's been years since I have genuinely been happy... since my mom died. So many years I have wasted trying to be the perfect daughter, perfect sister, perfect me.
But Elijah taught me that it's okay to relax, it's okay to make mistakes, it's okay to be in pain and it's okay to just ask for help.
But now it's like the smile doesn't even wanna leave, it's like a permanent feature on my face.... because of him.
I turn around to face him with tears in my eyes..
"I love it..... I love you, Elijah."
Silence..
His eyes widened... and a small smile crept on his lips.
Without a blink he pulled me in his arms... our lips smashed together. We both were smiling like idiots while kissing, like childish teenager who fell in love.
Our kiss grew deeper, more passionate. We kissed under the northern lights.
then after a few minutes Elijah pulled away so we both can both settle our breathing...
Without another word he went down on a knee, and pulled out a velvet box from his pocket.
It was blue velvet Tiffany box. My whole fucking heart dropped at the moment I realized what was gonna happen next...
Fuck!!! FUCK..... HOLY FUCK!!!
Elijah's POV:
It felt right. We felt right. I didn't even have to give a second thought to my decision.
I knew I wanted to spend my whole fucking life with this woman and I don't care if I don't deserve her.... I'll be selfish, just this once. I want her. I need her. I love her...
Kiara is my angel.
She could always take the hurt from my body with one single look and steal my breath with just one touch. I was lucky. So damn lucky to have her in my life. Whenever I was near her, I always just felt better – peaceful.
There was just something completely unique about her. I always had a response ready with everyone else, but with her, my mind just blanked. She was everything to me. Everything!
"Kiara... every single day, I think about the first time that we met... the woman who threw her drink on me.. the woman I fucking hated with all my heart. The woman whose life I wanted to destroy for fun..." She chuckled
"But the most fun part was that I never anticipated how that same woman will become the most fucking important thing to me..... if someone told me 3 months back that I'll become the same old Elijah again, I would have laughed at their faces because I always thought it was impossible for me to forget all the pain, to feel again.... to love again."
"But you taught me how to love myself again, Kiara. You fucking made me take care of myself.... you are everything that I want and need. You are the reason for the smile that can't seem to leave my lips... you are the reason why I'm so eager to wake up everyday... you are the reason why I keep on fighting all my demons and thoughts... just to become better for you"

I'm so excited Ahhhhh..... anyways I'm guessing that they are approximately only 2-3 chapters left.. I'm happy and sad at the same time lol
Also I just wanted to inform that I have started searching for the character muses and stuff for my next story which is a sequel of this one.
