Three young boys and one girl stood nearby the wall that had protected their race for more than a century.

???: Eren, we need to go!
A loud noise erupted, boulders flew everywhere, and the people started to panic.
Constant yells filled the air as giant humanoid beasts emerged from the hole in the walls, screams from helpless people, as Eren Yeager slowly shook in fear.
Eren: The boulder...Mom...
???: No!
Another boy ran past Eren, and Eren ran after him, both of them panicking.
Eren: Y/N, please tell me she's alright...
Y/N trembled to see a terror coming straight for them...
Earlier that Day...
Y/N: Hey, Eren, wake up.
Eren: What happened?
Y/N: Did you forget? You fell asleep; Mikasa and I had to collect your firewood.

As they re-entered Wall Maria, they saw some Garrison Regiment members. One of them was Hannes, a friend of Eren's parents. All of them were drunk, except for Hannes, who was half-drunk.

Eren growls.

As Eren, Mikasa, and Y/N walked back home, the town bell rang.
Eren: The Scouts! Come on, you guys!

The commander looks at Eren, who was very cheerful, for him to look away in disappointment.

Eren growls at the remarks of the people.

Mikasa abruptly grabs Eren.

When all of them are at the kitchen table, Mikasa blurts out.

Armin was another boy that had been friends with Eren, Mikasa, and Y/N; he was always was bullied by the three boys whose butts were handed to them by Y/N and Mikasa.

Boy #2: He'd get eaten by a Titan in under 10 seconds, I'd say.
The three boys laughed at Armin.
They see Eren running after them.
Boy #2: It's Eren.

Y/N jumps over Eren.

Y/N kicks Boy #1 sideways, and as Y/N falls, he puts his right hand on the floor, twists it, adjusts himself, and kicks Boy #2 in the stomach.

Boy #3 runs away.

Y/N lifts him.

Y/N took a gasp; the birds nearby flew over the vast red hand that grabbed the wall tightly, as its giant head, which looked terrifying, peeked over the 50-meter barrier. Its leg breached the wall, boulders flying past them, crushing civilians nearby.
Y/N: Armin! How did they?!
Armin: They shouldn't have breached the wall!
Mikasa: Eren! We need to go!
Terrified yells flooded the air; people cried, some stood still, some ran away, but the fact still stood, Titans were coming.
Eren: That boulder...Mom...
Y/N: No!
Y/N and Eren ran away, Mikasa behind them.
Titan after Titan came through the hole the first Titan made.
Eren: Be safe, come on! Please!
Eren sweeps to the corner to see Carla Jaeger trapped in the debris.
Eren: MOM!
Eren, Mikasa, and Y/N hurried to get Carla Jaeger out of the debris.
Y/N: There's a Titan! It's coming for us!
Eren: Come on! (struggles to lift debris)
Carla: My legs are broken; leave me here.
Carla sees a particular soldier come their way.
Carla: Hannes!
Hannes: Carla! What happened here?
Carla: Take them and go!
Hannes stared at the Titan coming their way.
Hannes: Don't worry, Carla, I'll save all four of you.
Hannes takes out blades from his gear and charges for the Titan.
Y/N: Why is he standing there?
Hannes froze at the sight of the Titan, and he ran back to the group and carried Eren and Mikasa in his arms.
Carla grabs Y/N's hand.
Carla: Protect those two, ok?
Y/N: Yes! (runs away)
Y/N starts to shed tears as he looks back at Carla Jaeger, who was lifted upwards by the Titan.
Eren: LET ME GO! WE CAN STILL SAVE HER! NOOOO!
Y/N looked back at Carla, who was eaten alive.
Blood splattered, and the moment was horrendous.
