"WAKE UP PEOPLE" Corbyn shouted once he entered bus one after Gabbie let him in. She and Jack were already up, and so was Kay, busy doing her hair in the bathroom.

"Corbyn?" The boy turned to Jack and nodded. "Shut up." Jack rolled his eyes. Corbyn threw with his hands, dramatically.

"Corbyn, honey, I told you three cups of coffee were too much for you." Christina sighed as she rubbed her boyfriend's back. She already told him after his second cup that it wasn't a good idea, but he did it anyways though while he kept on whining what a terrible taste it actually has.

Corbyn sadly nodded and sat down on a couch, laying his head back. He was actually really tired, but unlike Zach, he couldn't fall asleep after driving so long.

So coffee it is.

"Where are the other two?" Christina asked when Kay walked to them in the front.

"Sleeping." Gabbie, Jack and Kay said in unison.

"We could expect that." Corbyn mumbled with a chuckle.

"I'll wake Zach up." Jack spoke and got up from the couch.

"I'll wake Lilly up." Gabbie said after him and followed her boyfriend back to the bunks.

"I'll come with. I wanna know what you have to deal with every morning." Christina smiled as Gabbie chuckled. They stopped in front of Lillian's bunk and opened her curtains, finding the blonde still fast asleep. "Lilly, wake up girl." Chris chuckled and shook her awake, earning a groan.

"No, please, five more minutes." Lilly whined and cuddled more into something red.

Gabbie and Chris looked at each other and shook their heads lighty with a laugh.

"No, come on. You slept enough. Besides, Jack and Jonah have a whole day planned ahead for us."

Lillian groaned and opened her eyes, looking directly at them.

"I hate all of you." Her friends rolled their eyes at her.

"Sure you do." Gabbie chuckled and stepped aside so Lillian could get out of her bunk. She rubbed her eyes and walked to their 'kitchen' which is basically more a counter and made herself a cup of coffee. She didn't like it, but it could help her stay awake.

"Hey, Lilly?" Corbyn asked. The blonde only 'mhm'ed. "What's that in your right hand?" She looked down and found a red hoodie. She didn't know, or realize it, but she actualy cuddled the whole morning with it.

"I have absolutely no idea how I got it." She stated confused and looked at it, holding it up with both hands to see if she somehow recognized it.

"It's mine." Zach stumbled after Jack, rubbing his eyes as he let out a yawn. "Remember this morning? When you fell asleep next to me in the passengers seat while I was driving?" Lilly nodded, things slowly coming back in again. "Well, like I said, you fell asleep. And I had a spare hoodie with me in the drivers seat, and since I couldn't get you a blanket or something, I covered you up with my hoodie instead." Zach shrugged and dropped himself on the couch, still tired.

Kay looked up from her phone and looked at her boyfriend. She didn't know that they were together this morning. But she couldn't help but overthink, because the fact that the two were close actually hit her like a bus now.

"You were together? This morning?" Kay asked to clearify. Zach and Lilly both nodded, letting out a simple low 'yeah'.

Sometimes Zach forgets Kay is his girlfriend.

And,

sometimes Lilly forgets that Kay is her other best friend.

But they weren't doing anything wrong though, they're just best friends and nothing more. But the two were becoming closer and closer, and everyone noticed. Zach and Lilly just didn't know what kind of impact their friendship could be.

"Lilly held me company last night and this morning, when I was driving." Zach shoved his hands inside his pocket, like he was feeling quilty.

He had nothing to hide though.

"Yeah I didn't want him to be alone," Lilly smiled lightly. "especially when you know about his driving skills." She joked, causing Zach to take a step closer and shove her.

"Shut up I'm a great driver." She laughed and shook her head.

"In your dreams maybe." Zach rolled his eyes playfully and chuckled. He and Lillian engaged themselves in a conversation, totally forgetting what they were talking about earlier with the rest.

Kay leaned against the cupboard, looking over at Lilly and Zach. They were laughing and smiling and it gave her mixed feelings.

She was happy they're happy and that they get along so well.

But she was also a little jealous, because she kinda missed those times with Zach. She didn't love him anymore, she knew that for sure, and she also didn't had any feelings for him left, but though she wished things could be as simple again between them as it did with those two.

Kay looked at Lilly's smile and she realized it had been a while since Lillian was so happy for so long. The divorcement gave her a hard time, but now she was smiling again, and brightly.

And it wasn't because of her- Kay- but because of a certain brunette.

Zach.

She knew something was gonna happen between the two, and she also knew what. But since it seemed like they both didn't had a clue yet, she decided to keep her mouth shut for a bit longer and let them realize it themselves.

She wasn't mad that this was happening, she was actually very happy for the both of them. She just wished that she had realized it sooner.

"Guys, Jonah just texted me." Corbyn spoke up all of a sudden. "He asked how far we're at yet." All the eyes turned to Zach and Lillian since they were both still in their pj's. They looked down at what they were wearing, and then at each other.

"Shit." They sprinted back to the bunks, grabbed clothes and one of them took the bathroom to get changed, the other the room in the back.

The rest laughed, chuckled or shook their heads.

"I'll just ask for five more minutes." Corbyn spoke, ready to type when he turned to the noise again.

"Zachary Dean Herron! Open the fucking door you doof!" Lilly shouted when she was dressed and stood in front of the bathroom, banging on the locked door.

"Just a second!" Zach shouted back and almost a minute later he opened the door so they could both do their hair. Lilly was actually only gonna do a messy bun, but Zach wanted to look good, as always.

"Let's say ten." Corbyn chuckled and sent a message to Jonah.

After five minutes Lilly walked out of the small bathroom, wondering how she and Zach could actually fit in there while they were both doing their hair and later on, brushing their teeth. She shook her head eventually, brushing the thought off and stopped walking when she saw her friends looking at her.

"What?" She asked confused when she got a few raised eyebrows or smiled. "Something wrong?" She looked down at her outfit, Zach's red hoodie and white ripped jeans. The hoodie was oversized, but she loved it.

"Oh, nothing." Corbyn chuckled to himself, finding her kinda oblivious.

Lillian nodded, still a little confused as they all waited for Zach.

"Is that my hoodie?" The brunette chuckled when he finally joined the rest in the front, going with his hands through his 'just done' hair.

Lilly looked down at the hoodie and smiled.

"Yeah, it's comfy." She wrapped her arms around herself and smiled softly, causing Zach to do too, finding the way she acted very cute. "Thanks by the way, it's my new favourite item." Lillian let out simply before she skipped out of the door, going outside. Zach chuckled and shook his head lightly, turning to his friends who had silly smiles plastered on their faces, just like his girlfriend. He looked at Kay and cleared his throat, grabbing her hand.

"Uh-uhm l-let's go." He stuttered and pulled Kay with him who could only roll her eyes playfully at him.

The two groups met outside and then followed Jack to the city as he chose a good coffee shop for them to start since half of them hadn't eaten yet.

The girls grabbed a table while the boys ordered for themselves and their girlfriends. But since Lillian didn't had a boyfriend, she went up to the counter to order herself, finding a cute boy standing behind it.

"Hello beautiful, how may I help you?" His compliment took the notice of the boys who just wanted to leave, but stayed because of this.

Especially Zach.

Lillian blushed a little but shook the thoughts of him being 'quite cute' away.

"Can I get a Caramel macchiato and-" She gave him her order before he nodded and told her the prize, Lilly paying immediately.

"So that's a nice hoodie you got there, is it your boyfriend's?" The guy behind the counter took a notice of the hoodie that originally belonged to a boy.

Lillian laughed and shook her head a little.

"No, it's my best friend's hoodie."

Zach watched the small conversation happening in front of him and he couldn't help but to bit his lip, sending a small glare to the unknown guy.

His friends looked at him, and then at Lillian. They knew what was happening, and they didn't know if they should feel excited, or worried. Because they all kept in mind Zach already had Kay, his current girlfriend. So seeing one of their best friends become protective towards Lilly- and also developing a small crush on her- made them feel kinda anxious.

"Zach, come on, let's go." Jack tried and carefully grabbed his arm, but Zach wouldn't budge as he watched the guy bending over the counter, closer towards Lilly.

"So does that mean there's no boyfriend, at all?" He smirked lightly, biting his lip as he looked at the beautiful blonde in front of him. She shook her head. "How come that such a beauty like you doesn't have one?"

Lillian grew a little uncomfortable by all the compliments, the guy coming closer and continueing his attempt of flirting.

"I guess I just haven't found the right guy yet." She let out nervously, taking a step backwards. Zach noticed it and pulled away from his friends, going over to her.

"Hey Lills, you ready?" He wrapped an arm around her waist and his presence made Lilly sigh out in relieve.

The guy behind the counter bit his lip angrily and looked at the brunette with an raised eyebrow.

"And who may you be?" He shot at him.

"The best friend," Zach shot back. "now excuse us but we gotta go back to our friends. Bye." He pulled Lilly along with him who gave him a side hug.

"Thank you so much, Z." She let out.

"Of course, Lills." He placed a kiss on her forhead without even realizing and brought her to their friends, the boys waiting for them to walk over to their table. They sent her a few small smiles which Lillian returned.

"Hey, what took you guys so long?" Tate asked confused when Jonah sat down next to her. He shrugged.

"Some guy was flirting with Lilly and it made her uncomfortable, so Zach helped her out." Jonah let out simply before the attention turned to Zach and Lillian.

"Wait, is that true?" Gabbie sat up. Lilly nodded.

"Yeah, the guy was getting a little annoying." She sighed. "But sadly enough we'll see him again when he brings us our orders." Lilly bit her lip a little and rubbed her arm nervously. Zach looked over at her and placed his hand above her hand on her arm, pulling her closer to him as he gently started to rub her arm, instead of Lillian.

"Don't worry, we got weird vibes from him too." Daniel spoke.

"Yeah and besides, we are here, and with the guarding dog next to you," Corbyn chuckled a little, referring to Zach who was still holding Lilly close to him. "he can't do a thing." Everyone chuckled, Zach rolling his eyes playfully at his friend.

Minutes later, almost twenty, and everyone had their order, besides Lilly since she was the last one to order earlier. She waited for it to come, a little nervously before she felt Zach's grip tightened a little, meaning the guy was close and heading their way.

"And here is your order, pretty lady." The guy winked at her as he placed Lilly's order in front of her. "You know, I never got your name earlier." The group looked at him with slight disgust, asking themselves what he is still doing here, in front of them.

"It's back off." Zach growled and sent him a glare. The guy looked at him, annoyed.

"I wasn't talking to you."

"Well now you are and I'm telling you to back the fuck off." The boys looked at Zach, they let out a few raised eyebrows or chuckles as they shook their heads, knowing exactly what was happening right in front of them.

He is becoming overprotetive, again.

"Zach, it's okay." Lillian whispered to him, his face expression slightly softened as she gently rubbed his hand, wanting him to relax. "I'm sorry but I'm not interested." She turned to the unknown guy with a small smile. He rolled his eyes at her.

"Bitch." He mumbled underneath his breath as he rolled his eyes. It took everything in the girls to hold themselves together- plus their boyfriends while Lilly swallowed.

"That son of a-" Corbyn covered Christina's mouth who continued to curse.

"Yes he is and no, we're not gonna do something about it." Corbyn grumbled through gritted teeth, even though he really wanted to punch the guy. "We can't cause any drama." He removed his hand away from her face and she huffed.

"Fine," Christina crossed her arms before she turned to Lilly. "you okay?" She asked the blonde softly.

"I'm fine." Lilly sighed as she bit her lip. "What an asshole." Everyone chuckled except for Zach who still had his focus on the guy, his jaw clenched and sending a glare his way.

And he did so for the rest of their time sitting there.
