Brandon is torn between going out to find her and staying in the house just in case she comes back. When her phone became unavailable for his calls, devastation befell him realizing he might have just truly lost her . His head felt like its about to explode, thinking about where she could have gone while his heart weighed heavily on his chest
"Come back to me babes." he murmurs brokenly, holding on to the engagement ring she returned to him. "I'll do anything." He sniffles, burying his face into her pillow laying in their shared bed, her words ringing in his ear.
'If you do love me, you'll let me go.'
Brandon knows he has no one else to blame but himself. He did this to the both of them. He betrayed her trust, broke her heart. this is it isnt it? The end.
No, maybe she just needs some time? A voice urges him to have hope, though he knows it's a lot to hope for. He didn't recall succumbing to sleep last night but when he wakes up to his phone ringing, his eyes squint at the brightness, the sun already seeping through the windows as he answers the phone.
"Skyler?"
"It's me." disappointment washes over him hearing Cassie's voice instead of hers.
"What do you want?" he spat out harshly, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"She's here." She mumbles.
"What?" He shoots forward from his bed.
"Skyler, shes- shes here." Cassie's voice was hushed but Brandon jumped as if someone had shocked him.
