Hermione awkwardly cleared her throat
She grabbed one of the files and walked towards his desk, she could tell he's watching every step she was taking
"I need you to look over this, let me know if it's good to send," Hermione said
"It's fine Granger," he said, not looking at it
"Malfoy...look at it," Hermione said
He took the file from Hermione's hand, he read it over and Hermione took this time to admire him
Why does he have to be so bloody hot?
"Like what you see Granger?"
Abort mission, run!
"Uh...I'm..." Hermione stuttered
I'm going to crawl in a hole and die
"The file looks good, it's fine to send," he said, a smirk on his face due to Hermione's reaction
"Thank you" she whispered

They worked in silence, stealing glances at one another, Hermione couldn't breathe, it was getting hot in the office and Draco's lingering stare was not helping, she put her hair up in a bun, she stretched her neck and accidentally moaned when it cracked
She didn't notice Draco shuffling in his chair, trying to hide a rising boner
She stretched her back, putting her hands behind her and causing her chest to stick out, revealing the bralette she was wearing
Draco mentally cursed, he hoped something or someone would come in or else he was going to go over to Hermione and slam her over her desk and have his way with her
The doors opened and in walked Harry with Ron in tow
"Mione, you busy?" Harry asked "Malfoy," he said
"Potter"
Hermione looked up at her friends
"I'm not busy, why?"
"We need you to look over something" Ron added
Hermione stood up and walked over them, not noticing that Ron and Harry's eyes almost fell out of their sockets
"What do you need me to look at?" Hermione asked
"Uh...Um...t...Ron?" Harry stuttered
Ron's jaw had met the floor
"Uh...you two okay?" Hermione asked
"We'll come back," Harry said, dragging Ron with him
"That was weird," she said
Draco nodded, he hated how other men looked at Hermione, granted he would never tell her how he felt but that doesn't mean he can picture murdering the guys who look at her with the intention of bedding her
"I'll be back in a second, you can take care of this on your own?" She asked, Draco nodded
Hermione grabbed her coat and left, she walked out of the building and took out a packet of cigarettes
Yes, yes, I know cigarettes are bad for you, but they help with the nerves
She walked towards a cafe before she entered she extinguished her cigarette and entered, the smell of fresh baked goods entered her nose
She walked up to the counter and ordered two earl grey tea's and some chocolate covered biscuits
Draco and Hermione were planning on going to America to correct some issues that they were having, the workload has doubled and they have been staying late at work longer
Hermione paid and left the cafe, walking back towards the ministry
She passed a couple who were holding hands and laughing with one another, she sighed and thought back to a certain platinum, grey eyes man who was sitting in the office
She walked into the office and noticed their female assistant was flirting with Draco
She hated seeing other women flirting with him, especially women she works with, granted she would rather die than make a move to tell him how in love she was with him, it didn't stop her from daydreaming of using every spell she knows on these said women
she cleared her throat, catching the attention of Draco and whats-her-name
"I'm not paying you to flirt, I'm paying you to do your job, which requires you to be outside this office answering phone calls," Hermione said, trying and failing, to keep the jealousy out of her tone
"Sorry ms. Granger" the assistant said, scurrying out of her office and leaving the two hopelessly love-birds alone
she gave him his tea and went to her desk, ignoring the look he was giving her
"What do you want Malfoy?" she asked, not looking up
"With the tone, you took with Celine, I would assume you were jealous" she could practically hear the smirk
Hermione scoffed
You are bloody obvious Hermione, shame really, you could have been an amazing actress
bugger off will you? I've had enough of you all morning
"Great comeback, exhaling roughly," Draco said
Hermione sighed, she looked up to the platinum and glared at him
"What do you want Malfoy? you only get this annoying when you're expecting something"
"Come on Granger, can't I tease you for old times sake?"
Hermione raised an eyebrow
"Damn it, alright, so I was wondering...if maybe you could cover the rest of my shift? Blaise and Theo fou-"
"No"
"Come on Granger, it will only be for a few hours, I am almost done, all you need to do is sign off on a couple hundr-"
"No, Malfoy, this will be the third time I will do this, and tonight I have plans," Hermione said
"You do?"

"Yes," Hermione said, mentally slapping herself
"What are they?" Draco questioned
"I have a date" Hermione lied

Hermione missed the look Draco gave her, it left as quickly as it came
"With who?" He questioned
"None of your business, but I have a date, Ginny set it up," Hermione said, fighting the urge to fidget
"Prove it, bring him by the club that Blaise and Theo found, I'll like to meet him," Draco said, balling his hands into fists so he wouldn't do something idiotic
"Why would I introduce him to you?" Hermione asked

"I want to know if he's worth the fuss" Draco shrugged "And if he's the reason you've been slacking"

"Yes you do Granger, your work is getting sloppy" Draco said
"You want to meet him? fine, send me the details and I'll prove him to you"

They finished work, Draco had told her all the necessary information that she needed for the club
she floo'ed home and immediately summoned Ginny
"There better be a dead body in your living room for you to rush me this quick" Ginny said as she entered Hermione's home
"Ginny...I'm an idiot"
"You just realized?"
Hermione glared at her friend
"Not now Ginny"
"What happened this time"
Hermione told her everything that happened, from start to finished, when she was done Ginny was gawking at her friend
"You're f-"
"I know, you don't need to keep reminding me," Hermione said
"There is one person I know would be more than happy to accompany you to this mess you have put yourself in...but you might hate me"
"Just help me"
"Let records know, I warned you"
