"ETHAN SHH"
"Damn Mia, you got a wild imagination" Luna chuckled
"You should see her at her best in the bedroom-"
"SHUT UP DANI" The gays yelled
"TELL ETHAN TO SHUT UP, HE STARTED IT" The girl pouted
"Y'all got snacks?"
"Oh my god" Kate rolled her eyes
"I got half a snicker in my purs-"
"You talking bout my thicc juicy thighs?"
"SHHHHHHH"

Daisy's eyes looked out on the lush valley with fertile soils. Nature had penned beautiful poetry telling of the landscape
So she had walked from the craggy pass with it's rocky scree sides and coarse vegetation was just a part of the long journey from her home. She had stopped to take her rest and her horse for a drink in the brook that ran by the trail
In the corner of her eyes she had spotted a stone cottage ahead, barely larger than a woodsman hut. A thin wisp of smoke curled into the sky from the slanting chimney and out side stood a man, staring at her from the distance
Upon the hill, shadows that seemed to move closer stood as still as the trees, not totally frozen, for just as their budded twigs move so did her long hair
Daisy's eyes were closed. Tousled auburn ribbons whipped about her face, blown by air as fresh as any after a rainstorm. After several deep breaths she took in the view again
From there the fields were laid out like one of her mother's quilts. But instead of her magentas and cyans it is the earthen colours of early spring. She couldn't help but furrow her brows at the shadows upon the distant hill, they moved slowly. Too far away to make out a figure
It's too early for the hill to have flowers, but she knew if she kneeled on the wet blades there would already be the tightly folded petals in their green casings, swelling, ready to bloom
"Hey you" A familiar voice giggled, startling the brunette
Jess's arms wrapped around the girl from behind as she placed her chin on the girl's shoulder
"What the- where did you come from?" She asked
"Don't ask questions you don't want to know"
"But I do want to kno-"
"Shhh, just kiss me" Jess whispered as she turned her head to face the brunette
Her lips pressed against the girl's and Daisy's felt her body shudder in pleasure, turning to liquid as she melted in the girl's arms
"Mhmm" Daisy hummed as she sucked in a deep breath, feeling arms tighten around her body and pull her in closer
"I missed you" Jess whispered as she started to pepper small kisses along the girl's neck
"hmph, I missed yo- WAIT" the girl hissed
"What?" Jess questioned
"There's a guy on the hill"
"uh huh?" Jess mumbled before planting her lips against the girl's collar bone, then brunette giggled as she tried to pull away
"So! He could be watching us" Daisy chuckled
"Let him watch, I'm sure his wife is downtown riding much more than a carriage"
"Oh my goodness" Daisy giggled
That small chuckle seemed to pull the strings in Jess's heart. Her arms hooked around the brunette's waist as she brushed a few strands of hair along her soft cheek, stroking it gently with her thumb. It had been such a long time since she had the opportunity to melt in those coffee brown eyes
She focused on Daisy's eyes, which were darting back and fourth, shining in the sunlight and making them look like carmel. They were a deep, earthy brown - the color of the earth after torrential rains
But there was something else in them, something glistening. Glistening like an old copper penny being examined in the warmth next to powerful flames that were licking the safety glass door of an old fireplace
Jess's blue-eyes held secrets, the same way a pot holds layers of deep soil- cradling- because it was essential to keep the plant safe. Because the secrets she kept were too big for anyone else to understand
"You have no idea how much I've missed you" Jess whispered
"But.. You saw me this morning" Daisy raised her brow
"Oh... Well, sure. Sorry" Jess mumbled, realising her words
"You baffle me" Daisy said
"Oh sweetheart, if you only knew what else the world held in its hands"
"What do you mean by that?"
"You'll find out... One day" Jess whispered before turning her gaze towards the landscape
When she was most awake, most present in the moment, every sense of nature converged into a single energetic joy. It was as if there was a feeling passing between each living thing, a bond that was tangible and blended, a melody beyond the range of ears but available for the heart. And so, as the each leaf moves in the wind, a part of her did also. It is the togetherness of what is separate, the glue in the universe
What was beautiful made its way onto the eye line of Jess. That was, until those shadows became visible
What was dark figures were actually men on their steeds, whipping onto its skin to move faster towards the two girls. The look of disgust on their faces were enough to tell them what kind of greeting they were in for
They moved like a half circle, all in motion to mock noble soldiers in war doing something good for the world while they only carried hate in their hearts and death on their minds
"What... Is happening" Daisy whispered
Jess grinded her teeth against each other, there was nothing she could do or no where she could run. They were in the middle of a damn pasture with their bodies intertwined, she could only imagine how it might look to those with a small brain and a manhood that had been shattered at the image of two females being together
So she stayed still, she knew panic was settling in the brunette. But unfortunately, Jess knew this day was coming
It was only written in stone that someone would find out about their secret love affairs. But she could only wished she had more time
Again.
Time always seemed to slip away from her. Time after time there was something that messed it all up. But she didn't stop trying and she never will
"Jess.."
"It's okay" the raven hair girl whispered
"What is-"
"It's okay. It's going to be okay" Jess whispered
Her eyes rose to the men charging towards them again. Her arms wrapped tightly around the brunette, squeezing her body into her own
Perhaps to savour the moment
Savour the touch
The feel
The time she had with Daisy before it all went to hell
