Goh: the unova region!
Announcer: now the hottest location in Unova, the desert resort!
Ash: that's it! That's it!
Announcer: here a mysterious discovery has been made. A colossus ruins! Lots of Pokémon are showing up there.
Ash: I bet that colossus thing is a Pokémon!
Goh: I was thinking the same thing! Look out Unova region pokemon here I come!
(Y/N): well we know we're we are going so let's go!
(They reach the edge of it)
Goh: so how do we get there?
Ash: I thought you were working on that?
Goh: you mean you didn't come up with a plan
Ash: neither did you!
(Y/N): now now you two let's figure out away across.
(Pikachu steps on the sand and gets burned so immediately gets onto Ash's hat)
Ash: Pikachu!
Goh: this must be a very hot desert.
(Y/N): you can say that again.
(Scorbunny walks into it with no problem)
Goh: the heat doesn't bother scorbunny
Ash: scorbunny is a fire type.
(Suddenly scorbunny's feet get burned as it leaps into the air in pain and begins falling back down)
Goh: gotcha!
(Catches scorbunny)
Ash: so how do we cross it?
Lady: do not underestimate the desert resort. Good day young men.
Ash: ah a meditite!
Goh: instant to catch one of my own!
Lady: do you three have any Pokémon that can fly?
(Y/N): yeah me and Ash have got one.
Ash: come on out dragonite!
(Y/N): come on out my friend!
(They both send out Dragonite as (Y/N)'s looks happy whilst Ash's looks happy as she hugs the lady)
Lady: (getting hugged by dragonite and laughing) what is going on with this Pokémon? There, there. What do you say we all stay calm
(Ash's dragonite begins flying around and dancing about in the sky)
Lady: a real cutie pie
(Y/N): yeah Ash's dragonite is really friendly but can you help us out too buddy.
(Dragonite nods with confidence)
Lady: and I guess this is a tough guy huh.
(Y/N): I'd say so.
Goh: this is who I brought.
(Goh sends out beedrill)
Lady: a beedrill.
(Beedrill begins chasing ash, goh and (Y/N))
Lady: and I brought this one.
(She sends out braviary)
Goh: no way a braviary!
Lady: if you want to cross the desert resort
(Cut back to see the lady with a surf board and tether connected to her braviary)
Lady: braviary if you please. Away we go!
(Riding in the sand)
Lady: now you two try it
You: so cool.
Ash: let's give it a shot.
(Y/N): wait a second I need to do something really quickly.
Goh: what is it?
(Y/N): come on out my friend!
(Sends out rookidee)
(Y/N): I think it's time I have rookidee some action out the lab and it's pokeball. Rookidee fly into my shoulder and hold on real fight okay.
(Rookidee agrees and !arches into his shoulder)
(Y/N): okay now I'm ready.
(Cut to Ash, Goh and (Y/N) surging in the sand being towed by their Pokémon)
Ash: oh yeah you sure are fast!
Goh: go beedrill!
(Beedrill catches up to dragonite)
(Y/N): lest show these two what real speed is!
((Y/N)'s dragonite zooms last both and takes the lead
Ash: don't let them get ahead. Crank it up!
(Dragonite beats it's wings faster kicking sand into beedrill's face as it goes by to catch up to (Y/N)'s dragonite except they get launched and dragonite drags them up into the air)
Ash: that was awesome.
Goh: playing the tough guy.
(Y/N): that was cool.
Ash: huh where did (Y/N) go?
Goh: remember he said he to do something.
(Y/N) POV
(Y/N): right rookidee let's find you an opponent to test you out in a battle.
(They see a maractus)
Rookidee moveset: peck, leer, hone claws, power trip)
(Y/N): all right rookidee use peck
(Rookidee uses peck on maractus)
(Y/N): again rookidee!
(Rookidee tries it again but is punched by maractus first before it can get the peck off)
(Y/N): dang that was sucker punch, rookidee leer!
(Rookidee tries leering maractus but before it could maractus formed a spiky shield)
(Y/N): dang spiky shield too! Alright then hone claws and then peck!
(Rookidee uses its and raises it's attack and accuracy and uses peck which hits maractus this time)
(However Maractus uses mega drain which hits rookidee and it gains some health back)
(Y/N): quick rookidee power through it and hit it with a peck!
(Rookidee hits it with peck but maractus holds on as it starts using growth and increasing its attack and special attack by two stages since it's sunny already since you know they're in a dessert)
(Y/N): rookidee one last peck quickly!
(Rookidee tries but is hit by sucker punch right in the gut)
(Y/N): come on rookidee remember our training show maractus your gutsy attitude
(Rookidee rebounds as it flies in front of maractus and goes for peck but it's beak glows like normal for peck but then grows larger showing rookidee has learned a new move)
(Y/N): all right rookidee! Wait to go now show maractus your new powered up pluck!
(Rookidee strikes maractus as maractus couldn't get spiky shield up in the since rookidee was so close and maractus goes down)
(Y/N): go pokeball!
(He throws the pokeball as it shakes 1,2,3 and pings signalling maractus has been caught.)
Maractus moveset: mega drain, sucker punch, spiky shield, growth
(A/N): fun fact I didn't know maractus was a single evolution or a generation 5 Pokemon. I always use to think it was in generation 3 and that cacnea evolved into maractus who evolved into cacturne which now that I think about that doesn't make much sense since they're based off completely different things.
(Y/N): right you two let's rocket back to the other two!
(They set off and 5 minutes later (Y/N) arrives)
(Y/N): sorry I took so long!
Goh: it's okay!
Ash: yeah now lets go! (Y/N) look over there!
((Y/N) looks)
(Y/N): oh yeah the colossus ruins!
(Ash's dragonite swoops down and flies about)
Ash: woah slow down!
(Dragonite slows down)
Ash: you must be wiped out after all that flying, take a break.
(Dragonite looks disappointing as it's sent back into the ball meanwhile Pikachu and scorbunny look at the statue such turns into a darmanitan that goes to fire an attack)
Goh: watch out that's overheat!
(Darmanitan fires the attack but misses as You throws a pokeball as it shakes 1,2,3 and pings)
Rotom dex: darmanitan has been registered to your pokedex
Rotom dex: darmanitan, the blazing Pokémon, a fire type. It has an internal temperature of 2500 degrees which gives it enough power to break a dump truck apart.
Ash: that surprised it didn't you. Pikachu, scorbunny.
???: Excuse me, just checking are you all right?
Ash: woah! That litwick was talking!
Goh: I kinda doubt it.
(Y/N): (giggles) Ash look you silly goose.
(The litwick jumps and reveals it was a man as litwick lands in his hand)
Man: hello I'm the leader of the ruins excavation team, the litwick is on the team aswell handling illumination.
Ash: (sweatdrops) It sure gave me quite a shock
Excavation leader: it sounds like an adventure to me! You know.
(Timeskip at stone with writing on it)
Excavation leader: in ancient times this was the site if a border of a city. It's said the people there will built the colossus to protect the people they love.
(Y/N): (anime tears) so noble!
Ash: that's awesome!
Goh: yeah.
Excavation leader: notice here
(Shows them a symbol on a tablet)
Excavation leader: this is the key to adventure! Simple, you know.
Goh: you know I think I've seen that map before or maybe not.
Worker: Boss excuse me!
(He runs over)
Excavation leader: yes?
Worker: we found more writings
Excavation leader: great! Let's go adventure calls.(excited) Aaaaaa! It's time for a brand new adventure! You know you know! So as you three perceive inside be careful as you make your way. To adventure! What could be better.
(Going down the steps of the temple as Pikachu and scorbunny run down the steps meanwhile dragonite walks behind(Y/N) and rookidee is on his shoulder
Ash: Pikachu be careful.
Goh: scorbunny take your time.
(Pikachu and scorbunny stop to look back but scorbunny accidently stands on a sandile's tail aggravating it)
Goh: it's a sandile!
Rotom dex: sandile, the desert croc Pokémon, a ground/dark type. Sandile digs into the hot desert sand to keep from losing heat. It lives most of its life in hiding.
(Pikachu and scorbunny run away while sandile is trying to bite them, Pikachu fires an electric attack but it does nothing)
(A/N): I was so mad at the scene in the anime because shouldn't they know this considering Pikachu had a RIVALRY with a sandile/krokorok. Which Ash caught in the end and I was happy and then became a krookodile which was also good and learned moves that didn't seem possible like dragon claw or BREAKING THE LAW OF PHYSICS by learning aerial ace which was also cool. Anyway back to the action
Ash: electric types won't work on sandile
(A/N): atleast ash remembers, geez the disrespect Pikachu just gave ash's krookodile just then.
Goh: now use double kick!
(Scorbunny uses double kick booting it in the face twice and sandile is fainted)
Goh: all right pokeball go!
(Goh throws a pokeball and it shakes 1,2,3 ping he's caught it
Ash: that's awesome you did it!
Rotom phone: sandile has been registered to your Pokédex.
Goh: that's our second Pokémon from Unova.
Ash: when that excavation leader talked about adventure, is this what he meant?
(A woobat flies past)
Goh: woah a woobat!
Ash: I'll take care of this.
(Goes to chase it but steps on a tile causing send to pour on top of him.
Goh: I get it when we said adventure he meant this.
(Y/N): yeah and this is what he meant when he said for us to be careful.
(Scorbunny steps on a tile)
Ash: I think I just heard a ka-chunk
Goh: it can't be.
(Next thing they're screaming and running as a giant boulder is coming as they get to the side of above it and dodge out the way.
(Goh and ash press more files as more things come out)
(Y/N): oh come on really! Why do you both have to do this!
(Pillars come out the floor and wall and hit everyone as they're trying to get away from it as they eventually get away and take a break as they're exhausted from running away)
Goh: these ruins are way too hard to explore.
(A yamask flies past)
Goh: hey look it's yamask
Ash: this has got me fired up! What do you say buddy let's race up to the colossus!
(They run off ahead)
(Y/N): hey wait for us!
(Him and dragonite run/fly after them)
Goh: where do they get their energy from?
Ash: (to Pikachu) remember to not touch anymore surprises.
(Ash steps on one as he finishes that sentence as the floor opens up and ash falls down it and the lady appears out of nowhere)
Lady: meditite! Use physic go!
(Meditite uses physic to lift Ash out the hole)
Lady: grab hold young man.
Ash: hey I know you.
(Grabs her hand as she pulls him up and meditite stops using physic)
Lady: so it's you three again.
Ash: thank you so much.
Lady: my name is Kiera. Wherever there is mystery! Meditite and I are there in a flash! Like that.
(Y/N): I feel like I'm forgetting something
(Y/N) thoughts: what was it about ancient cities and ruins again?
(With the research team)
Excavation leader: these writings are explaining something about this mark.
(With the gang)
Kiera: me too! I want to uncover the mystery of the colossus ruins but how are you here without any preparations. Never underestimate ruins.
Goh: Kiera on your way down here so you find any surprises or set off any booby traps.
Kiera: of course not. There are switches. Like here.
(Points at the mark they saw earlier)
Ash/Goh: that looks familiar.
(Y/N): wait it's a switch!
Kiera: if you move one of step on one it will set off a trap.
(Scorbunny goes to touch it)
(Y/N)/Ash/Goh: back off!
(Scorbunny flinches)
Goh: hounding want to set off another trap switch!
Kiera: quiet.
Ash: hey Kiera? What's wrong?
Goh: scorbunny didn't touch a thing.
Kiera: shhh!
(Sounds are heard as coffagrigus approach)
Kiera: coffagrigus!
Goh: time to catch number three
Kiera: hold it! There's someone inside!we have to rescue them!
Ash/Goh: rescue them!
(Y/N): how!
(Scorbunny tries double kick but it gazes through coffagrigus)
Goh: fighting type moves don't effect ghost types like coffagrigus.
Ash: just leave it to us! Pikachu use thunderbolt!
(Y/N): dragonite iron tail
(Dragonite hits one and knocks it back whilst Pikachu hits the other with a thunderbolt and so evening appears out the box wrapped up)
Ash: they're out
???: Shane seeker! (Poses)
(And a weird blue psyduck also poses as they two coffagrigus retreat)
???: I just can't thank you enough for resucing me! Thank you! Thanks so much! Thank you!
(Psyduck hugs Pikachu)
Goh: Ash, (Y/N) check out this one!
Ash: it's a blue psyduck!
(Y/N): woah it's so shiny and rare!
Goh: I've never seen one before.
Shane: nice to meet you I'm Shane seeker! Isn't my psyduck the cutest! I fill my Pokédex with shiny or alternate coloured Pokémon that sparkle when they appear.
Kiera: shiny Pokémon?
Shane: and psyduck is not all ya see.
(Shows his pokedex which has shiny psyduck, onix,, swinub, slakoth, bagon)
Ash: they're all shiny Pokémon!
Goh: yeah but it's almost empty.
Shane seeker: (saddened) I'm just starting out. So what! Psyduck was the very first Pokémon I ever caught! If your first Pokémon ISNA shiny Pokémon then it's got to be fate! Then I decided I was going to fill my Pokédex in a way nobody ever has before!
Goh: but you rarely see any Pokémon like that.
Shane seeker: that doesn't matter! I'll be the first to do it no matter how many years it takes!
Ash: hey how did you know someone was in there.
Kiera: because the coffagrigus were only a little bit off the ground. When a person is inside it their weight themes to push it downwards.
(Y/N): you really know your stuff! That's so cool!
Ash: there's not a thing in here.
Goh: this was supposed to be the spot.
Shane seeker: maybe there is a trick here somewhere.
(They look about until psyduck lands on a blue tile causing one of the things in the middle with the mark to rotate)
Kiera: everyone!
Ash: whats up?
Kiera: are there other stones around here with this mark.
Ash: there's one here.
Goh: I found one too.
(Y/N): me and Pikachu found another.
Shane: there's one here aswell
Kiera: that's five in all and five rings in all. Ash could you push your mark stone.
Ash: but won't I fall in a hole again.
Kiera: you'll be fine. You've got to trust me
Goh: go on Ash give it a shot.
Ash: remember this wasn't my idea.
(He pushes it as the center rotates again)
(Y/N): that is moving!
Goh: but is it a trap?
Kiera: no it's not. Now everyone push yours.
(Y/N): the honour is yours Pikachu
(Pikachu jumps on it as Goh and Shane push theirs aswell causing it to show another mark in the center)
Kiera: I knew it! This is the mark of the ruins.
Goh: amazing.
(The mark glows as a spherical ball appears in the center)
Kiera: we finally did it! The colossus!
(Y/N): you know it kind of looks like an egg.
(The egg sphere colossus thing begins cracking and explodes as a golurk appears)
Shane: the colossus is a golurk!
Ash: it's so big!
Goh: and listen to this golurk is usually a little over 9 feet tall but this one is almost double that!
(The excavation leader arrives)
Excavation leader: we've figured out the ancient writings!
(Sees the golurk)
Excavation leader: (star eyed) adventure!
Ash: it's not really an adventure, it's a golurk.
(Y/N): well said Ash, well said.
Ash: and it's colossal!
(Y/N): and the moment is ruined.
(Golurk looks around as it's eyes brighten up and fires an attack at Ash knocking him back)
Ash: hey! What did you do that for!
(Pikachu is livid)
(Golurk starts firing attacks all over the ruins)
Shane: you've got to stop it! W-wait!
(Psyduck looks livid too)
Excavation leader: thinks what the writing say. That golurk is the cities protection, built by people from ancient times. Golurk only awakens to fight. It attacks anything it sees.
(Y/N): oh that was what I forgot! Cheers excavation leader!
(Golurk fires a beam hitting (Y/N) and sending him backwards and now dragonite looks peeved off aswell)
Goh: (hiding behind pillar) that colossus is really dangerous!
Rotom dex: golurk, the automaton Pokémon, a ground/ghost type. It is said that ancient people created golurk for heavy manual labour. It is completely loyal to its masters orders.
(Golurk tries to punch meditite but misses)
Kiera: so what are we going to do now?
Goh: it may be the colossus but it's still a Pokémon right.
Ash: and like that we should battle.
Goh: hey ash I think we should make this a raid battle.
Ash: awesome I'm in.
(Y/N): oh hell yeah it's raid boss battling time!
(Pikachu and scorbunny and dragonite are ready)
Kiera: right! If this is a raid battle then I'm in too.
Excavation leader: a catching adventure. And i shall be in my element!
Shane: I think I'll take a pass.
(Tries to leave but is grabbed back by Kiera)
Kiera: you'll battle with the rest of us.
Shane: this one's not a shiny Pokémon.
Kiera: (whispers in his ear) I've got a friend who's got lots of shiny Pokémon Shane want to meet him.
(Shane freaks out and is excited)
Shane: just tell me what to do! Go psyduck!
Kiera: meditite we're in this!
Excavation leader: all right litwick I'm counting on you!
(Y/N): dragonite hold on for a bit right. I want to try out my new pokemon
(Returns dragonite and sends out maractus)
(Y/N): let's do it maractus!
Goh: cool!
Ash: where did you find that!
(Y/N): I'll tell you later now is not the time!
(Sends out litwick)
Excavation leader: you sure are fired up.
Ash: Pikachu thunderbolt lets go!
(Pikachu uses thunderbolt and it does nothing)
(Y/N): (deadpans) Ash golurk is a ground type remember. Just like most of the other pokemon that we've encountered.
Ash: (sweatdrops) bad move.
Goh: (sweatdrops) you've got to think before you act.
Ash: I messed that up big time!
(Scorbunny goes to use double kick but it doesn't do anything)
Goh: golurk is also a ghost type so your fighting type move didn't do a thing. Sorry about that scorbunny.
(Y/n): (sweat drops) the irony right now.
(Scorbunny who's mad keeps trying to kick him but golurk just flicks him off into a wall and scorbunny is unable to battle)
Excavation leader: litwick use fire spin!
(Litwick uses fire spin and fire surrounds golurk)
Kiera: meditite psyschock let's go!
(Meditite uses it and hits golurk in the back)
Shane: all right psyduck hydro pump!
(Psyduck uses hydro pump and hits him in the shoulder but golurk stops all the attacks)
Excavation leader: amazing!
(Golurk goes to fire a beam at maractus)
(Y/N): maractus spiky shield!
(Maractus uses spiky shield and blocks the attack but golurk's beam moves across as it turns its head and hits meditite and psyduck)
Kiera: meditite return!
Shane: I knew I wasn't cut out for this line off work.
Ash: Pikachu iron tail!
(Pikachu uses iron tail and hits him in the back of the head cashing golurk to stumble and onto one knee but Pikachu receives a punch from golurk knocking Pikachu unconscious and him to behave a red mark on his face and body)
Ash: take a rest here. Dragonite is still on our team. Go dragonite!
(Dragonite comes out and golurk charges a punch)
Ash: dragonite use dragon claw!
(Dragonite uses dragon claw and clashes head to head with golurk)
Goh: okay you stand back and observe scorbunny. This time I'll use beedrill!
(Beedrill comes out)
Goh: alright twin needle!
(Beedrill uses twin needle and dodges the blasts golurk fires until beedrill actually gets hit by the last one)
Goh: beedrill! Return!
Kiera: braviary come out and use air slash!
(Y/N): this is getting intense!
(Air slashes connect to the back of the head)
Excavation leader: it's up to you lampent! Use flame burst!
(Lampent uses flame burst and hits golurk in the back)
(Y/N): maractus use mega drain!
(Maractus uses mega drain to drain some of golurk's health meanwhile golurk punches braviary and lampent)
Kiera: braviary!
Excavation leader: lampent please be all right!
Goh: I guess I have to use my brand new friend, darmanitan!
(Golurk goes to punch maractus)
(Y/N): maractus quick sucker punch!
(Maractus hits golurk with a sucker punch effecting it slightly but then it delivers a punch to maractus knocking maractus out)
(Y/N): I'm sorry maractus you were great
(Returns her and sends out ivysaur)
(Y/N): ivysaur charge up a solar beam!
Ash: no matter who catches it!
Goh: there's no hard feelings!
(Golurk's hands go into his arms and his legs disappear as he lands on the ground and where it's legs should be a hole is and is ready to charge an attack)
Ash: no way!
Goh: golurk transformed!
(Y/N): (star eyed) that's cool now it looks like a cannon
Excavation leader: it just can't be.
Kiera: what is it?
Excavation leader: I think it's the ultimate attack, written about in the ancient writings,the colossus sends forth a blinding light destroying every enemy before it!
Shane: a blinding light!
Goh: it's certainly earned the name colossus in every way!
Ash: dragonite and darmanitan can strike together! We've got to do it before it attacks again!
(Y/N): hey! Don't leave me out ivysaur is all charged up
Goh: right!
Ash: dragonite hurricane!
Goh: darmanitan: overheat!
(Y/N): let a rip ivysaur. Use solar beam!
(A beam of fire from overheat is surrounded by the energy from solar beam which is surrounded by dragonite's hurricane clash with the beam and the force sends everyone flying back as dragonite crashes into a wall, darmanitan crashes into Goh and ivysaur flies backwards into (Y/N) who has his back slammed into a wall as the shockwaves subside to see golurk stuck in the firing position as he has blue electricity from the recoil of the clash as it struggles to stay up)
Kiera: that's not right.
Excavation leader: it may not be able to turn to normal with the damage it took.
(Golurk falls)
Ash: golurk is down!
(Y/N): oh yeah we toppled a titan!
Goh: sorry to jump in but go pokeball!
(Goh throws a pokeball and it shakes 1,2,3 as it pings and goh has caught himself a monstrously strong golurk)
Rotom dex: golurk has newly been registered to your Pokédex.
Excavation leader: I'm so jealous! Golurk is one of your Pokémon Goh.
Kiera: that's really something.
Ash: awesome job!
(Y/N): your building up a team of alot of strong Pokémon.
Goh: dragonite's battling was incredible too and maractus did well on its own and ivysaur's solar beam is no joke.
Ash: so was darmanitan's.
(Y/N): hey lest just say everyone made an effort so I'd like to say well done to all Pokémon that battled along side which is Pikachu, Scorbunny, Maractus, litwick, meditite, lampent, braviary, dragonite, darmanitan and ivysaur.
(Darmanitan and dragonite fist bump as dragonite bends down to hug ivysaur)
(The wall dragonite crashed into tumbled down revealing an ancient city made of gold)
Kiera: is this... It is!
Excavation leader: this is it! The ancient city golurk was protecting! Ruins are an adventure!
Shane: maybe all the Pokémon inside shine like gold too!
Kiera: this is what I live for!
(Timeskip: at Cerise park)
Ash: hey (Y/N) and goh!
Goh: shhh!
(Meanwhile (Y/N) is giggling as Goh points up where we see golurk layed there with sentret and taille on top of him as darmanitan is in zen mode next to him)
Goh: it's like the guardian protector of Cerise park huh.
Ash: yeah, it's pretty cool.
(Y/N): I agree.
