Narrator's pov

Hello there, did Autumn scare you in our last chapter? Aww :( you poor thing
The raven hair girl glanced over to her girlfriend, nothing but her brows stitched together and dark eyes she held
Yet Kate smiled, for she knew Autumn better than all of us and knew exactly what those eyes meant
"Before you even ask it, the answer to your question is yes" Kate chuckled
"But why!?" Autumn asked
"Because. You're special, whether you like it or not, you meant the world to me and everyone around you. And I know you weren't expecting any of this but God knows you deserve it" Kate smiled
And for anyone still confused, Autumn surely wasn't upset nor was she angry. The raven hair girl was simply stunned to the point where she couldn't understand one thing
And that one thing being that someone in this world would go to such lengths to make her happy
Her dark blue eyes looked as if an ocean had been encased inside of small glass marbles
"You have no idea how much you mean to me" Kate whispered
Then the smooth spheres of the blue eyed girl appeared to be cracked, the ocean had started to leak, little water droplets streamed down Autumn's rosy cheeks
"Awww baby don't cry" Kate chuckled, taking a step forward to cup the girl's cheek
Her thumbs ran over those rose cheeks that were stained from blushing and the salty flow that ran over them
"Baby, look at me" Kate whispered, tilting the girl's chin up
"You're amazing, you're so fucking strong and brave and God knows how much I cherish you in this world. I've been planning this day for months. The day when you step away from your past and entire into a new path. This isn't the only surprise I have for you" Kate chuckled before spinning the girl around, leading her towards the plank
"Wha- WHAT DOES THAT MEAN" Autumn screamed
"Oh just you wait and find out" Kate laughed
Joy comes in different forms, some where we express it through our smiles while others might express it through panic.
Gay. Panic.
The exact same thing our little Autumn seemed to be doing right about now. Her eyes widened with each step she took, leading up to the beautifully decorated deck of the yatch
"AHHHHH BITTTCCHH, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU FELL FOR ALL THAT SHIIT" Ethan laughed
"The amount of times we literally slipped" Jamie groaned
"And we recovered nicely" Ethan smirked
"Well done" Jamie said before patting her back
"Yes. Job well done" Ethan smirked
"You two were in on this for months?" Autumn asked
"Yep, ever since the night we met Lisa, we've known Kate would plan something"
"So what you're saying is.. You lied to me" Autumn said in a stern voice, causing the two teenagers to be left silent with their mouths left opened to talk
"I-"
"Um" Ethan mumbled
Autumn took a step and the two took a step back, their hearts starting to pump faster in their chest when they locked onto the icy cold eyes of the actress that crossed her arms against her chest
"You. Know. How I feel about being lied to" Autumn hissed with such venom causing the two to swallow a lump in their throats simultaneously
"IM SORRY-" Jamie screamed when her back collided against the wall, matching Ethan
Autumn's glare was enough to cut through their flesh and watch the thick red blood run down the cold skin
"KATE LIED TOO" Ethan screamed
"OH WOW. I SEE HOW IT IS" Kate laughed
"HUSH, IM UNDER FIRE RIGHT NOW. IT'S ALL MAN FOR THEMSELVES" Ethan squealed
"Dumbasses" Autumn chuckled
The two teenagers furrowed their brows as they glanced up to the actress
"Wait what!?"
"It's called acting, sweetheart. Try it sometime" Autumn chuckled
"WHAT THE HELL"
"Ooohh she's good" Jamie chuckled
"I'm an actor and she got me" Ethan pouted
"Should have seen how scared I was the first time she pulled that" Kate giggled before intertwining her fingers with the girl
"Come on, there's some people I want you to see" Kate whispered before leading the girl away
The music was so loud that it made Autumn's skin tingle and her lungs feel like mush but it brought her smile even wider. The bass thumped in time with her heart beat as they made their way through the crowd of people on the deck, dancing.
Over the roar of music, a distant, hazy chatter could be heard. Laughter rang in their ears from the guests. The song that was playing got louder, daring to pull them in and wouldn’t let go. Oh how Autumn wanted to join the crowd, jumping in a huddled group like Tic-Tacs being shaken in a box.
"Autumn my dear" two familiar faces greeted the birthday girl
"PEARL, JUNE" Autumn squealed as she leaped forward, wrapping her arms around the neck of the two elderly women
Pearl had a long fluffy scarf draped around her neck that flowed down to her hips while her white silk dress hugged her slender figure and stopped to her knees. June on the other hand wore a simple flower dress like our innocent little June does
We stan her
"Hunny you're going to wrinkle my dress before one of the waiters over here get the chance to do so in my bed tonight. We can't have that now can we" Pearl winked as she pulled away from the hug
"Ew. Old people sex. Ew" Autumn groaned
"Don't talk so soon. You're getting older everyday Ms twenty one" Pearl smiled
"Well Pearl, atleast I still have my original bones. How's that new metal hip of yours doing?" Autumn smirked
"Perfectly fine, might even try it out tonight if you know what I mean" Pearl winked
"Oh no" June giggled
"I can't believe you're hanging out with this woman" Autumn chuckled
"She's good company when she's not flirting with anyone younger than 30"
"Pearl!"
"What!"
"Stop flirting with the guests!"
"Oh hush up hunny, you have that arm candy over there while I have... June" Pearl playfully scrunched her face up in disgust
"Oh hush you!" June chuckled before playfully slapping the woman's arm
"You girls go ahead, we'll catch up later on" Pearl giggled
"See you later" Kate smiled before continuing on her journey with her girlfriend, waving the older women goodbye
"I seriously can't believe you did all of this" Kate chuckled
"I had help from the three Muskateers" Kate grinned causing the girl to raise a brow
"Three? Don't you mean Ethan and Jamie?"
"Yes.. And"
"And me of course" A small and familiar voice came from behind
"LISA" Autumn squealed, bending her knees and hooking her arms around the smaller girl's waist, hugging her tightly until her legs were off the floor
"Autumnnn" the smaller girl giggled
"Oh my God I missed you" Autumn squealed
"I missed you too big sis" The girl grinned
"Happy birthday"
"ugh don't make me feel old" Autumn groaned
"But you are old"
"I'm twenty one!"
"EXACTLY, YOU'LL HAVE BACK PROBLEMS NEXT"

"Shut up before I toss you overboard" Autumn playfully glared
"Oops" Lisa giggled
"How'd you even get here" Autumn asked as she lowered her sister to the ground
Lisa's smile slowly faded when the words registered to her brain
"Well... You see.. The thing is-"
"Hi.. Autumn" another voice said
The voice was all so familiar to Autumn. It's a voice she had imagined hearing for her whole life. The voice she needed to tuck her in bed everynight and show up for atleast one of her bad days. It was a voice Autumn desperately needed until she didn't
A voice that sent her crashing even on a clear road
