Hopes pov:
"I thought you had a date?" She asked
"Umm Yea I do but she canceled" I said hoping she believed the lie
"You really think you can lie to me hope I know you haven't been with anyone else since josi-" she said before I cut her off
"Please don't mention her name!" I said in a firm tone
"No I will mention her name hope you never told us what happened let alone talk about it we had to call dr.saltzman to ask him what happened so yea I will say Josies name until you tell me exactly what happened" she said
"I don't want to talk about it OKAY!" I said
"Hope you can't just avoid this because if you do it will only get worser than it is" she said grabbing my hands
"Aunty bex I can't it physically hurts to mention her name" I say starting to sob
"Yes I know that hope but you really need to let it all out I promise it will be better than keeping it in" she said rubbing her thumb against my hand
"Honestly I can't say much about it because I can't explain it but she hurt me she cheated" I say completely sobbing now
"Aww come here it's fine but you need to start talking to the family and stop occupying yourself with so much work"she said hugging me
"Please don't tell freya that I didn't have a date she'll kill me" I said letting out a wet laugh
"Oh please she'll probably just hex you" she said making us both laugh
"But no seriously start doing less work and visit your family if not I'll out you to the family about your fake date" she says nudging me in the arm
"Okay I will" I say letting out a laugh we sat there for a couple seconds in awkward silence
"Here let me walk you out" I say
"Okay but hey I'll come pick you up at 8 for dinner" she said
"Omg I almost forgot that but yea okay I'll be ready see you later aunty bex" I said hugging her
"Love you hun" she said padding my back
"Love you too always and forever" I say pulling away
"Always and forever" she says before I close the door
I go back to my bedroom and get my shower stuff and then I go into the bathroom and take off my clothes from earlier and I hop into the shower as the warm water hits my back I can't but help but feel like I am safe I always feel safe when Im in the shower I think it's because off the warm water hitting my back after I was done I got dressed into my Silk pajamas and go straight to bed
-Time jump to the morning-
I wake up around 7:30 I rub my eyes and stretch then hop out of my bed putting my slippers on I walk to the kitchen and I grab my coffee beans and put it to in my coffee maker to make me my morning coffee i hear a knock at my door who can that be at 7 in the morning I walk to the door and see my new intern
"Yes can I help you" I say
"I'm sorry to bother you mrs.Mikaelson but I can't get into your office and I took your carpet to be cleaned and it just got done being clean I went to the office first but no one had the key so I ca-" she said rambling
"Omg okay it's really early in the morning stop rambling come in I'll get the keys" I say stepping out of the way so she can come in
"Coffee?" I say
"Oh no I couldn't oppose" she says
"It's not opposing if I offered please please everybody needs their morning coffee I know I do" I say stepping into the bedroom for one Quick second to grab the keys
"Here" I say but I can't help but notice her looking confused
"What's going on in that little head of yours" I say
"I don't know you were being such a-" she says thinking of what to call me
"A bitch yes I know I wasn't having a good day I don't have them often but I'm working on fixing my attitude so I apologize for that" I say walking over to the kitchen to grab two mugs
"So how do you take your coffee" I say poring the coffee
"Black please" she says walking over to the stools by the counter top
"Here you are so how way your day today?" I ask
"It could be better but I like it so far oh also thanks for the coffee" she says taking a sip
"Yea no problem can I ask you for a favor" I say
"Yea sure your the main boss"
"So I kinda need help with picking out outfits for my family dinner tonight do you mind helping me since you're here" I say
"I know you're my main boss but my boss Richard will be real mad if I was late" she says
"Well you know what I like you and I can fix that how about I promote you to my personal assistant I never had one and I think it will be really good to have you as one I mean you'll have a pay raise of course" I say as we just sit there silent
"You can have time to think about it if you want" I say
"No I want it! I just was thinking about how you said you like me like I've been told I was annoying my whole life" she said looking at her coffee
"Please what's your name" I say
"Caitlyn"
"Well Caitlyn the only way you'll make it to the top is not listening to others follow your heart" I say
"Thank you so much I really needed that" she says taking a sip for her coffee
"So now that you accepted the job what do you say we go shopping and also your coming to dinner with me so we have to get you dressed " I say
"Oh wow okay Umm I have a daughter at home do you mind if i get back to my house by 10 because that's when the babysitter leave's" she says
"Yea of course I'll take you when we leave dinner and maybe I can meet her if that's okay" I say
"Yea that will be perfect" she says
"Okay so let's get moving my aunt is picking us up at 8 and we've been taking for 2 hours it's now almost 10 so I'm going to get changed then will leave" I say as she nods her head
I run into my room and change into casual wear and then I walk out the room and I grab my purse so we can leave to the store the first stop is the dress shop we try on multiple dresses I decide on a burgundy dress that is a little fancy but what can you expect it's a family dinner and my family loves to dress fancy and then Caitlyn decided on a blue dress that goes down past her knee and then we check out and go to get our shoes I go with black heels she goes with silver heels then we go get our hair done and then head back to my penthouse and we change into our clothes and heels then touch up our make up a little we hear a knock on the door around 7:45 PM I go to the door and open it
"Hey hope" aunty bex says
"Hey aunty bex" I say giving her a hug
"How are y- omg is that a date" she says over excited
"Oh no that's my personal assistant she looked like she needed a night out" I said
"Oh okay so no date then and since when did you need an assistant" she says
"Today I felt like I needed one and she was here so I just thought why not hire her" I say
"Well she certainly is beautiful" she says nudging me and raising her eyebrows
"No she's straight and has a daughter " I say
"Aw that's too bad the hot ones are always straight" she says
"Caitlyn ready to go" I say turning around
"Yea let me grab my bag" she says running to the kitchen to grab her bag off the counter
"Okay let's go" I say locking the door behind me
After an hour or so we arrive at the Mikaelson manner oh god I do miss this place
