We arrived at the Mikaelson manor and I walked in and seen that everyone was here except davina
"Hey everyone this is Caitlyn she's my personal intern" I say
"Hey Caitlyn how are you on this fine day I'm keelin by the way" keelin said introducing herself
"Oh hey nice to meet you" Caitlyn said shaking keelins hand
"This is my wife freya and my son nik" she said introducing my aunt and baby cousin
"Hello nice to meet you Caitlyn" freya says holding nik
"And this is kol"I say
"Hey" he says waving
"Where's davina did she come" I asked
"Im right here" she said coming around the corner with a baby that looked about 2 months old
"Oh my god who's kid is that" I said looking at the family and back to the baby
"This is Alice she's your baby cousin" kol said grabbing the baby
"When did that happened" I ask
"Well we did text you for the baby shower but you never got back to us I guess you were to busy for family" kol said handing the baby back to davina
"Do you want to hold her" davina asked but kol looked at her like he was saying no
"Yes please" I said grabbing her from davina
"Oh my god she's beautiful" I said looking at her beautiful brown eyes
"Look you guys I promise I'm going to make more time for family less work more family" I said rocking the baby
"I have one more trip to take and then I'll make plans for a family get away does that sound good" I ask
"Yea" everyone agreed
"Can I speak to you Caitlyn in private" I ask
"Yea sure" we walk to towards the front door
"As you may know next week I'll be leaving to New York I was wondering if you can come with" I ask
"Well I don't have a babysitter that can watch Evelyn" Oh yea that's right she has a kid I forgot
"She can come with it will be fun for her and if we need a nanny I can hire my family's nanny to come with us if you want so will you come?" I ask
"For now it's a yes but I'll go over it will Evelyn and see how she feels about going" she said
"Okay that's fine" I say walking back to the family
"Here you go she's so beautiful" I say handing her back to davina
"Okay so dinner is almost done everyone take your seats" freya says clapping her hands together
Everyone takes their seats i next to davina and on my other side Caitlyn. we all talked and laughed about things the family went through well I was off keeping my mind busy I cant believe I did that to them I missed a big gap in my family's life davina told the family about how she performed a spell but of course when they were telling us the story Caitlyn was in the restroom the spell was for kol and Davina so they can have a kid it worked obviously but it made her really weak so she slept for a week straight kol had to wake her up so that she can go and use the restroom as well as eat food but now she's doing just like fine
We finished dinner and had a little bit of wine and talked about how my business was doing then I called my driver and said goodbye to the family
"Bye darling it was good to see you again" kol said as he had his hand around davinas waist
"Bye I'm going to miss you little munchkins" I said giving Alice a kiss then one to nik
"I'm going to plan our family trip soon after I get back from New York"
"Why are you going to New York" freya asked now walking into the living space
"It's for work so I can check out the new building and make sure everything is situated and in place"
"Okay well me and nik are going upstairs it's bedtime for him bye hope today was fun looking forward to the family vacation" keelin said walking towards the stairs
"BYE KEELIN!" I yelled from downstairs
"Bye you guys see you when I get back from my trip" I say walking towards my car
"Looking forward to it!" Davina yelled as I stepped into the car and closing the door
"Hey sorry to keep you waiting" I say
"It's okay but I need to get home soon it's already 9:20 if I get there later than 10 I have to pay the babysitter extra" she said
"Okay so just tell him your address and will go there as fast as we can don't worry about paying the babysitter I'll pay and thank you for today it was fun to have someone to talk to" I say
"Your welcome and thank you about the babysitter" she says with a smile
"Oh and my address is 1567 east pairs street" she says turning to the driver
We sit in silence the whole way there we get to her apartment and I started to say good bye to her but she stopped me
"Hey want to come in and meet Evelyn"
"Yea sure" I say following her up the stairs
"Mommy!" Said a little 4 year old girl running up to her moms legs
"Hi honey" Caitlyn said giving her a kiss on the cheek
"You went over your time so you owe me extra!" the rude babysitter said holding out her hand
"Actually I owe and there is no need to be rude to her especially in front of the child" I say pulling out my Wallet
"Whatever" she said taking the hundred out of my hand
"Oh and this is the last day you'll be working for them thank you bye bye" I say closing the door on her
"Why would you do that she's the cheapest babysitter I can find" she asked worried
"It's fine I'll just pay my family's babysitter to take care of her when you need her and plus you might meet her next week that's if you still want to come" I say
"Baby how do you feel about going to new York next week" Caitlyn asked Evelyn
"YAY! is this for my birthday week" Evelyn asked jumping up and down
"Oh honey it's more of a business trip but I can probably squeeze in some time for a cake" she said
"No it's fine I'll make some reservations for a dinner at a restaurant that me and my family used to go to out there and then we can get cake and open some presents" I say looking at the girl
"What I thought we were going to busy situating everything at the new building" Caitlyn asked
"Oh I really just have to go in for the day I was planning on doing a little extra work for work but I think a birthday week sounds like fun" I say nudging Caitlyn
"Mommy who's this lady" Evelyn asked
"Oh this is my boss she wanted to meet you" Caitlyn said explaining
"Mommy she's a very pretty girl" Evelyn says swaying back and forth
"Thanks you are pretty too" I say
"Well I'm going to head out and get packed we leave Monday so in two days so see you guys then" I say leave the home as I was driving home I can't help but think of all the things I have planned for Evelyns birthday of course I have to check in the first day I get to New York but I can hang out with them for the rest of the days
